Yep, hopefully they don't really know how special it is, they don't know the dating very well (all they had to do is look at the date sticker at the bottom of the ST) as this looks to be an early 80's not 70's and NDS pic.

Looks to have the panto stem, SP, brake levers, original leather bar wrap and presumably bars, if the calipers are machined and the panto chainring is there, this is a very special find.

They may very well be on the moon with pricing despite their apparent lack of knowledge.

Just something to keep in mind. Maybe this is just a great deal on some sweet vintage steel!

All good as long as you meet in person and do not pay in advance for a "hold".

Oh it was even stupider than that, I had 2 or 3 fast moving deals going on at the same time with inadequate attention span for it all.

And was feeling flush, which didn't help, changed in a big hurry as the failing begin to sink in.

Can't use 20 rolls but very good price for someone who could

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...371473114.html

Cloth Handlebar Tape - $8 (SE 47th and Division)

New Old Stock Cateye cloth handlebar tape in brown.

This has a great dark brown leather look with Shellac - good match for leather saddles.

$8 for a handlebars worth (2x rolls) or $15 for two sets (4x rolls) or $65 for the box (20x rolls).

1980's Nishiki Road Bike - $100 (Port AngelesA good 1980's 12 speed 'touring' bike at a great 1980's price.
AS IS!
This bike is sorta tall- fit for a person generally over 5'10" or long of leg.

Squishy seat, center pull brakes, bar-end shifters, as well as a mounted zefal pump and rear rack.

I tuned it up before I neglected it in the garage about two years ago, so it should ride just fine

This was listed a few days back by '02 nrs when it was $50. Seller now wants $100.

I'd have happily paid $50 but since a) price has doubled, b) that nice Mr. Biden doesn't allow Canadians across the border so can't pick up in US and c) the shipping of a box that size to Canada would be a killer, I'm out.

Still a cool piece of kit though based on the instructions it seems only suitable for 5 and 6 speeds (?)

In May I bought some stuff from a CL seller just outside Birmingham Michigan and it was shipped by truck to Detroit, then to Chicago then to San Fransisco then air freight to Toronto then to me (I live near Niagara Falls). Total time to get here, 6 weeks! Seller told me next time he'd boat over the Canadian side of the Detroit River and try to throw the package onto the Canadian shore.

Too Small - Too Distant For Me To Facilitate

FREE cycling clothes (Apex)

Posted 2021-08-27 10:47

"Okay, cleaning out a few things that I haven't used in a while. FREE. Two sleeveless jerseys, size Medium, 3 pocket, 3/4 zip. These fit me fine but might be a unisex or womans size. Instead of cross-dressing by mistake, they are free. Not pristine- there are a few grease spots on the front of one- but definitely in good condition and usable. One short sleeve Novara (REI) jersey, full zip, three pockets, in great shape. Honestly, it just does not look good with my bike colors. Honestly. And one pair of bib shorts, mens medium, 9" inseam, decent chamois pad.

They are all free. Just come pick them up- map location is pretty close and I'll send the street address when you say you're coming. Porch pickup is okay. First come, first served."
