Looks like a sudden donation of old bikes. Might be something here for someone willing to commit to a complete rebuild.

Nishiki Comp II road/town bike with back rack - $120 (Yarmouth)

Older blue nishiki comp II. Newly wrapped specialized S-cork bar tape, and newly installed front shimano derailleurs and rear shimano 600 derailleur. Back rack installed on the rear is very useful for putting on saddle bags or other box’s and crates to transport items. Front tire sidewall is a bit frayed but holds up well and the front derailleur is persnickety about its shifting which is the way the older pull down shifters are. Screws and holes in place for a water bottle cage. Selling for $140 or make an offer.

    Seller claims mint condition
    https://dayton.craigslist.org/bik/d/...371855783.html

Late 80s or early 90s Schwinn Voyageur with a 25" Columbus Tenax (mix of Columbus SL and SP) double-butted chromoly frame. Absolutely gorgeous bike

    Brand new 27x1.25" tires
Brand new pedal clips and leather straps

The tires and leather clips were shot but all this bike really needed was those items replaced, and a cleaning / tune up. All vintage, high quality Japanese components, everything works like new.

This is a quality touring bike from Schwinn loaded with lots of extras.

This bike has a BioSpace triple chainring, 15 speeds (3x5), Shimano front and rear shifters, plus a full array of braze-ons for racks, bags, fenders and three sets of bottle cage bosses. Really smooth shifting and riding, bar-end Shimano shifters. Bike is really close to mint, never left outside and always garaged.

Sakae pedals have brand new chrome clips and leather. This Schwinn has a San Marco Touring suede leather saddle, Sakae seat post, and Dia-Compe cantilever brakes.

Classic bar handle tape color matches the bike beautifully. I was tempted to replace it but did not....however I have a box with several colors and styles of handle bar tape if the buyer wants a replacement.

This bike needs nothing but a new home and a tall rider. New tires makes it roll like a dream ....the flawless, vintage look is really eye catching. This bike has a lot of adventure left in it.

Three hundred OBO....Cash only, no trades or checks. Local sales only, no shipping. Can show bike at my house or deliver within reasonable distances. Thanks for reading.

Ok, isn't there something in the Book of Revelations about people who turn bikes like this - what ever it now is??? Does this mean the end is nigh. Nice frame and can still be rebuilt and maybe sell of SS parts to pay part of the rebuild.

At least they didn't Drew it. That would have been a tragedy.

My size...I would happily fork over the $500 and be thankful there were fewer parts to take off when I rebuilt it!!

I done got to it! It's mine!!!
Got home about an hour ago and had enough daylight to take the wheelset off and just eyeball it til I couldn't see anymore.
It's in pretty great shape for 1985. It's from the original owner and he has it registered at the Moulton registry. I'll be re-registering it after I finish the build.
The Imron paint has a few chips in the usual places but I'd say 8 out of 10.
My plan is to take the entire Campagnolo Super Record group from my Univega Super Special and probably sell the frame since it's too big for me.
Really looking forward to getting this on the road!

        That is fantastic, good job.

These are some of the coolest, finest, well made frames there are.

I have two, one too small, one way too small. May be trading one for a great big one that will fit me very soon, can't wait.

I met Dave on a bike shop tour a few years ago here in PDX, he talked for a couple of hours, took questions and had a great time.

He took a good look at the Merz I rode there, said it he liked it but hadn't heard of him.

Man, for that price if it wasn't for that quill seatpost I might pick this one up. From what I read the frames were actually made by Klein but the seatposts are prone to cracking and you can't find replacements.

bargo68 , nice acquisition. A fine looking bike that I look forward to seeing what you do with it. I am not in the market per se, but if that was located near to me, I would definitely have wanted to check it out. I love the paint job and think it would great riding and really nice looking with modern components on it. Please do updates as you do the build. Also, I agree with Andy_K on the C&V post.
