Interesting no-name mixte for $30 in MA. Forged dropouts and brake bridge treatment hint at nicer bones than might be obvious. Chainguard mount and kickstand plate could be hints for the brand detectives.

This is fabulotastic! Maybe it’s a good thing it looks way to small. Cobalto brakes too
Rossin tandem. Only $8900... But a piece of magnificent art. Oh, and by the way, it is NOS.

Ok! If this is a 914 for $50 you can buy a whole new wheel and get a quality freewheel off the money you'll save!!
PS, the RD is DA so that might be your $50 right there.....
https://ithaca.craigslist.org/bop/d/...376099111.html
Steel Miyata frame (914? sticker is half gone)
not sure exact size, but guessing 54-55cm
aluminum handlebars
functional Shimano 600 brakes
2x7 drivetrain
downtube shifters
front wheel ok, rear has broken spoke and iffy freewheel
enough space on frame/brakes for gravel/cyclocross tires

Ok so how many people need 20 freewheels at once??
https://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/b...376003450.html
Freewheels and Chainrings - $300 (Highland Park)Hi I am cleaning up my bike part inventory and have these freewheels and chainrings up for sale. You get 15 NOS freewheels, that is the freewheels on the left and the freewheels in the boxes. Of the five on the right, at least three are in great condition, I had them on a bike and did not care for the ratio. So that is 20 total freewheels plus the eight chain rings pictured. A cog set for a free hub snuck in the photo when I was not looking, that is the shiny one on the upper left, that is not included in this sale. You could probably make your money back selling these individually and have a few for your own use. Please keep an eye out for other retro and Rivendell parts I will be posting. Thanks!

Who needs 20 freewheels at once? On the other hand some are NOS Suntour Winners (5/6 speed) and seller does say he'll be listing "other retro and Rivendell parts" so maybe when reality sinks in and he still has the 20 freewheels seller might sell singles.

A bit of a quizz.
Who recovered this saddle? Very impressive work, I'd never seen one of his rebuilds before. If I hadn't just broke in a saddle with all the pain that meant, I'd be in.

Beautiful patina, was ridden anout 500 miles. Incredibly comfortable but still stiff so it can further broken in to your taste.
Bears initials of craftsman on leather and brass rivets. Adga name chosen as a wink to French cycling.
Regular application of proofhide to top, beeswax waterproofing to underside to keep it feom drying out. mo cracking at all.

Interesting enough, thanks for posting. I shot them a message. Got some extra cash on hand after transferring one of my untouched Gitane TdF to another BF'er this weekend and the price is right. Wish I'd have found this sooner ... Don't need the braze-on FD, but could've definitely used the other parts for my main ride about 4 months ago.

Vintage Bianchi Axis Cyclocross Bike - Celeste
$325

Bianchi Axis cyclocross bike circa 1989 in classic Celeste green. Good condition. Approx 54 cm. Mostly original components. Saddle, fenders and Shimano dual platform pedals added. Bontrager tires. Solid chromoly steel frame great for riding around the city. I've used it for commuting in Boston and it's great rain, snow or sun! For size reference, I am 5’6 and this should work for someone my height or a little taller. It rides a little big for me.

Speaking of cross bikes, a Gitane with cantis and barcons? Pretty unusual. Looks like a Vitus sticker on the seat tube.
