Early-mid 90's Serotta frame for a song:
https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/bik/1908728364.html
Frames: Serotta, Gitane and Alum. Schwinn (974?) - $100 (Cape Cod)

Date: 2010-08-20, 12:21AM EDT
Reply to: sale-te3qw-1908728364@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Selling these frames:.
The Gitane is the black (with sparkles in the paint) one, 55.8cm top tube and 55.8cm seat tube. Comes with simplex FD and headset. $100

The Schwinn is an aluminum frame with no seatpost bolt, since the seatpost acts like a quill stem. The top tube is 55.8cm and the seat tube is 57cm. Most likely a Schwinn 974 or similar. Comes with the bottle cage and Ofmega headset. $100

The Serotta is a Colorado, 57cm top tube and 57cm seat tube. It was a race bike (lots of sponsor decals). No fork or headset. Seatpost size smaller than 27.2 (checked with a post of mine) and 6.125" of headtube. $150

I'm located in North Falmouth, 10 minutes from the Bourne Bridge.

A team 7-11 Serotta Road Bike 54cm or 21" - $2000 (Colorado Springs, CO)

A rare collectible bike in almost new condition.

I have a Team 7-11 issue Serotta road bike in almost new condition and hardly ever ridden with the word Huffy on it who's serial number is 71142 which says it was the 42nd team 7-11 issue road bike built in 1983. I originally ordered this bike at my local bike shop here in Colorado Springs who ordered it from Ben Serotta when I purchased it. He may have also been the builder of this Team 7-11 issue road bike. So I am the original owner of the road bike.

It has all Dura-ace 7-speed components on it with a Dura-ace chain and it has the look pedals on it, Cinelli handle bars and Cinelli stem and the Mavic MA40 36-spoke rims and of course the frame is made out of steel with TRUE TEMPER tubing and it is red and white in color and it has the word Huffy on it in black and white and of course the words Serotta with the Serotta decals. It is a 54CM or 21 inch road bike with brand new Specialized S-work tires. The tires are not sew up's and are brand new. It also has made in USA decals on it. Also included in another set of matching mavic wheels like what's on the bike now which also has the dur-ace 7 speed cassette and a brand new dur-ace chain still in it's original box. And some new tires that I bought awhile back if I still have them in my closet. The bike also has not be ridden since it was tuned up last summer. I am 5 ft 6 inches and the 21 inches is ones pants inseam. so when I stand over the bar of my bike my inseam is 21 inches is how that is measured.

If this fit me I would have bought it already. He must mean Suntour Sprint since that is what was on the black Circuit I used to own. Very nice components IIRC and a good price for a less than tall end user. Hoods and bar tape would be nice but it looks very clean.

Gios Compact Pro - $880

I am selling my Gios Compact Pro made from Columbus SLX tubing. I bought this frame and component group new when I was working in a bike shop. It has a very rare set of full Mavic components from Europe including tubular tires. Currently have a carbon fiber fork in the frame but the original Chrome steel fork is included. Does not include pedals.
This is a fantastic riding all steel classic from Italy. The frame is 56cm C-C. Please contact me if you are interested! More pictures available.
Call 616-XXX-XXXX for more information.

That's NOT a 26" frame. I'd say...58cm. Possibly 60cm.

If you're looking for a tall one, I have a 62cm mid 80's SR frame we could talk about.

Sometimes, I don't know why I torture myself by looking at craigslists in cities just barely too far for me to drive to. I'm moving to Sweden in ten months and really should not be buying any more bikes. Despite all this, I hemmed and hawed on this one. It looks mostly original and looks like it is in great shape. I hope someone gives it a wonderful home (and takes off that kickstand).

This is a collectors item. It is immaculate and should hang on someone's wall. Titanium frame with aluminum lugs. Components are Suntour superbe pro with Campy cranks. The saddle is a Selle San Marco Rolls Titano. The wheels are Mavic with American Classic hubs (beautiful). There isn't a ding or scratch in the bike.

Is what this guy says in this auction true about the serial number? Will this work a triple?

https://cgi.ebay.com/Shimano-ST-2203-...#ht_500wt_1154

This Shimano ST-2203 left/front shifter came off of my bike when I upgraded components. It is about 1-1/2 years old and was used for approximately 800 miles. The model number ends in 3, indicating that it is for a triple chainring setup; however, it came off a bike with a double and worked just fine. It does have three stops, but I always thought the middle stop was a half shift to keep the chain from hitting the derailleur in certain gear combinations (lot's of shifters have this feature). Anyway, all I can say is that it worked fine on a double. The model number says it will work with a triple, but I have never tried it.

I also have an auction for the right/rear shifter.

In the lower-end Shimano line-up, I don't think there is a distinction. I think the left work works more as a ratcheting shifter, rather than indexed. It should work no problems. But, per-usual in their number scheme, a left shifter with XX03 is for a triple.
