Another small framed gem outta Oregon.
==================================

Vintage Schwinn Paramount road bike 52cm - $400

The bike is an aluminum 8 speed road bike with full Shimano STI shifters and a double front crank. The Bike was designed and Engineered in the USA by the Paramount Design Group, the high end division of Schwinn when Schwinn was the top USA bicycle manufacturer. It is made out of 354 series 5000 butted aluminum. The Bike size is a 52cm from center of crank to the center of the top tube. I fixed this bike up for my wife a few years back to see if she liked road biking, she has since gotten a new “prettier” bike. I was going to use this as a rain bike as it has the holes to mount fenders. I have working in Bicycle Shops across the U.S. as a mechanic for over five years. I have rebuilt everything on it, wheel hubs, cranks, and headset. All bearings have been re-greased and overhauled. The bike has new cables and housings, new chain, new tires and tubes, a new seat, new stem, and new bar tape. Bike is in great working order considering some of the parts are 20yrs old!!!. This would make an awesome commuter/ Rain bike or a great bike for around down and longer rides. I have a rack on my car so I could deliver it to you as well. I believe I have some SPD pedals somewhere that I could throw in free if you want them. Please email, text or call me with any reasonable offers or questions. Thanks!!!!

Older italian Bianchi road bike for sale. not sure of it's exact age, cannot find a manufacturer date on it. has been in the garage for quite a long time though, well over 10 years.

the original owner of this is no longer around and left this behind a long time ago., so i'm sorry but i do not a lot about this bike. i'll answer any questions you have the best that i can.

has a 48 cm. Columbus SLX frame. current stand over seat height is about 3 feet.

it is extremely lightweight, and can be pickup with just two fingers. has it's share of road wear, chips, and paint cracks, and decals peeling off.. not ride-able right now because the tires are flat and worn out. and it has its chain off.
also come with a set of extra light weight rims, tires are junk on them as well.

more upclose and detail photos are available upon request.

asking $250.00

BG, I think the engraved head tube pretty much settles it, though I'd still like to see the x-4 on the brake bridge. Too small for me, but a great price.

You picked THAT PINK Bianchi from Sausalito? Any color of Bianchi is good if that color is celeste.

LOL!!!!!! No I didn't pick up the pink one. I got what i think is an SBX with 1994 Record out of Colorado. It has been repainted and has a slx sticker on it. But I am convinced it is a celeste Bianchi.

They sure looks like a X-4 though.

Gitane Service Course. A little rough but looks all original. Could be a good deal if you can do a local pick-up in Massachusetts.

Mondonico, 56cm, Campy - $750 (SW PDX) tons of pics at the link

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/1932292149.html

Beautiful classic ride in the finest Italian tradition of handmade steel. This frame measures 56cm square and features a full Campagnolo 8-speed group set.

The frame is built with Columbus SLX tubing, is fully lugged of course and features a full compliment of braze-ons including a chain hanger.

As is common with high end Italian handmade steel frames this one is loaded with chrome both the rear stays as well as a fully chromed and pantographed fork. The chrome shows little if any pitting and shines up extremely well.

The bike is 100% built with Campy Chorus components including both front/rear derailleurs, crankset, headset, brifters, hubs and even the rims are Campy.

This is a great bike and will last a lifetime if taken care of properly. It rides like a fine steel bike does...like buttah baby. One advantage to some bikes/frames of this era is the extra clearance which allows relatively easy fender installs. This bike has great clearance and would obviously make a *****in' 2nd bike/rain ride for the upcoming "damp" season. It's priced very well especially when compared to some rides listed on C-List.

Thanks

I can't tell what model this is, or what's on it, but I emailed the seller, who informed me that it's a Puch. I know they made some higher end stuff, but maybe this is a deal, maybe not.

Cannondale Red Handlebar Bag in Portland

I had conversed with this Portland CL poster about a very nice Cannondale handlebar bag in red, I was looking for bags for my new touring bike:

However, beech333 put me on to and facilitated a killer deal for me on a set of bags almost simultaneously. The gal selling this bag was very nice and willing to ship. YMMV but I thought I'd give her some pub here since she was so nice and I know the Cannondale vintage stuff is popular.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/bik/1924067186.html

'Tis is Portland but again, she's willing to ship.

Peugeot Super Vitus 983 Road Bike w/bike accessories! - $300 (excelsior / outer mission)

Date: 2010-09-02, 9:34AM PDT
Reply to: sale-hg9yj-1932861299@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Hello, I'm selling an original Peugeot Super Vitus 983 road bike with a few bike accessories. The bike is in great condition, comes with a brand new gel-seat installed and will come with a pump, helmet and some other stuff. The frame is really light and it rides extremely well. The bike is dent/crack free and ready for the road.

This was a friend of mines bike but they moved out of the country and they couldn't take it with them, so it needs a new home.

I'm asking $300 but any reasonable offer will be considered. I have additional pictures I can send if you are interested.

Please feel free to give me a call or a text, I'm looking to get this handled sooner rather then later.

Alrik

Heh - I saw that one the first time it cam up on CL in Walnut Creek. I thought it might be a Palo Alto, and sent the guy an email to see it. Obviously, I was too late.

I'll be interested to see if it goes for $450.

Anyone think that bianchi has a bent fork, or is it just the black getting muddled in the spokes?

Athena groupo. Seller says it's "nearly complete" though some parts are not mentioned in the description below. Certainly would be worth it if derailleurs, shifters, headset, etc. are also included. Note also comes with a complete wheelset with Campy ofmega rims and regina freewheel.

For sale is an amazing Campy Athena gruppo from '88/'89. The pieces are in great shape despite their years, but definitely have some scars to show. I have done my damndest to clean up them up, and you know Campy has a shine all its own. Everything has been scrubbed/swabbed, and these components are ready for your vintage build. It's extremely hard to find a gruppo that is so nearly complete as this because people tend to part them out and overcharge like crazy.

Brake Levers: Polished up nicely, but have some scratches from regular use. I've gone through and cleaned them up the best I can. The original Campy hoods are not in the best shape, but still have plenty of life left. Includes (old) cable housing and (old) cables.

Cranks: 53/42 rings with 170mm arms. These have some wear from riding for sure, but also cleaned up great. The rings have some hard stuck grime, but will polish up a whole other level with some elbow grease or parts washer. They shine like no other and are in great shape. Comes with original Campy crank bolts.

Bottom Bracket: This cleaned up amazingly. Includes everything from 15mm Campy crank bolts to original campy dust sleeve. Italian threading, 70-SS spindle (not sure of length but I think it's a 115mm).

Brakes: These are the crown jewel of this set. They are in tip top shape and still have plenty of pad left. Single pivot.

Wheelset: I have not yet had a chance to deep clean this set yet, but I assure it's in awesome shape. Includes: Athena hubs/skewers laced to Campagnolo Omega rims (Hardox Strada clinchers) with 6spd Regina freewheel. These are some diesel wheels. Some of the best Campy ever made. I'll even leave the tires on with are red Hutchinson 700cx23's.

Seat Post: Aero style (you know these are expensive and a ***** to find!) 27.2mm. Not sure of overall length but it's 7.5-8" for sure. I'd give this one a 7/10 because it needs to be polished. It's 100% clean, but is a little dull.

I forgot to bring my camera with me so I'll have to post pics later, but if you are looking to deck out your vintage Italian steel, this set is for you. Hit me up in the Mission and it's yours!
