I haven't found a tubular wheelset in good enough condition to ride yet. Fingers crossed and all that.

Jack Taylor Tandem
Jack Taylor Tandem. Seller says:
"Look at this little gem! Late 1970s Jack Taylor tandem bicycle, built in Stockton, England. Built from Reynolds 531 tubes. For taller riders, the captain position measures 63cm seat tube/ 57cm top tube while the stoker measures 58cm seat tube/ 59 cm top tube. Bike is complete and rideable after some tuning. Component highlights: 27 wheels with Phil wood hubs and Super Cahampion rims, TA Specialites tandem crankset and Phil Wood CHP pedals front and rear. Currently has a 3x5 drivetrain of sun tour and Shimano components. Mafac cantilever brakes and color matched front and rear rack."
Seller says 63 cm captain's seat tube -- but it looks smaller than that to me. Nice machine!

Selling my 55CM Bleriot frame that is a tad too big for me, I believe the standover with Baby Shoe Pass 42mm tires is 31.75. There are some light scratches and one large one where it appears the chain came off the small cog. No dents, was framesaved when built up.
No crashes, little use as it sat for 10 years after a car accident and 2 back surgeries till I stared to ride again after COVID hit. I estimate 4-5,000 miles or less.
Where where sold stripped, added is a Shimano BB made in Japan, UN 91, Suntour headset that was NOS when built, and Tektro R556 side pull brakes. The BB has been cleaned since photo. The steerer tube was left high when originally built up.
I will pack this very securely, so no worries there if shipping is needed, shipping extra.
Rivendell geometries were different when this frame was new, see below.
https://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/...otgeometry.pdf
Ask question please. The frame is in perfect structural condition with few scratches as noted above.

That C'dale is a '91 or '92 and my size... $200 in MA. Of course.
If it were within an hour or two, I'd go get it. The tall ones are a dime a dozen by comparison; these 23" bikes come up rarely and usually for "*****-house prices".

3Rensho in Spokanev - Currently $361 Auction ending soon
I was thinking about bidding high enough to buy this for restoration and resale but don't have anyone in Spokane who could pick it up. Has anyone ever discussed having a board where people can post need for members to help with picking up a bike locally and either packing them or bringing them to a bike shop for packing and shipping to another member, including possible payment for pick-up? I know I'd be willing to pick up and even pack and help ship bikes from Orange County, CA to other members. If there is anyone in Spokane who would help me pick it up, please let me know. As it stands, I'll be passing to bid you you want.

Be still my heart that's a clone of my 1995 T400.
Those are the "Avocet Cross" tires that came on mine, too.
Can't have been ridden muchc.
Thank you!
Spokane. They do ship, so....
The bar-ends are a bonus, the bike came sparsely quipped; downtube shifters and low-end Shimano everywhere; 7speed no-name hubs and single-wall rims. But these are a great ride.

Thank you for the suggestion. Right now I'm trying to find someone in Austin, TX to pick up a Vitus 979 bike from the SGW there.

Even though there is a link to get a shipping estimate, when clicked, it says pick-up only. Perhaps there is a member nearby who could help. If you don't want all of it, perhaps a person who picked it up could remove unwanted parts and keep them. Shipping in a frame box would be even less. I always use www.shipbikes.com for shipping bikes, frames and wheels. Very reasonable.
Frame looks to be in great condition. I too like bar-end shifters.

Ya they don't ship. I sent up a flare on the Facilitator's thread -- don't expect anything on such short notice -- and am OK with going through a local bike store. I'll bid on it and if I don't get it, well there's a donation to goodwill, which isn't the worst thing in the world... thanks so much for pointing this out, and good luck with your own endeavor...
cheers -mathias

Well, step 1 completed. It's mine, for $104 -- so they're legit, I put in $207 for my maximum. Now I'm going to get on the phone and try bike stores in Spokane...

This is the coolest bike I've seen here in a while for a price that makes me drool. A lot of expensive customization work and some nice components.
