I did go have a look, but took a pass because of the top tube damage. Two dings, with the aft one (visible in the ad) having a bit of a crease as well. Original owner, very nice older gentleman who knows his stuff.
If I wasn’t swamped with bikes / framesets that need to get moved out, I might have grabbed it anyway. Hopefully someone else here can take it on.

This poor Atala has been sitting for a while.
bicycle frame material: steel

wheel size: 27 in
Atala road bike from 1960. Frame made in Italy. 58 cm frame center to top, about 22 1/2". Full Columbus SP cromoly frame and forks w/extra fork. Full braze ons added. Repainted but still looks good. Some pitting on chrome lugs and fork crowns. Shimano cranks, Suntour Cyclone derailleurs, Campy Nuovo Record pedals. Very good clincher wheels w.stainless steel spokes. Good tires. Leather saddle. Newer cork bar tape and brake hoods. Includes alloy bottle cage and Blackburn rear rack.
Mechanic owned and rides like new. GB bars and stem. Ready to ride.
