This is a vintage Centurion road bike. I purchased it from the original owner, I took it down to every last bolt, cleaned everything, replaced all cables and wires, bike shop on bechelli tuned brakes and shifters. It also has a Velo Orange leather saddle. Iam asking $100

'80's Recherche - Columbus SLX Dura Ace - Eugene, OR
House brand bike from the San Diego area. Their frames were originally built by Dave Moulton but the ad states this was built after Dave stopped building for them. The ad states that frame repairs were made "early on in it's life".

Crazy to see this right now, there was just another clean example for sale in LA a couple of days ago. The guy said he wanted $100, I said sold, but before he provided an address he wrote back and said he sold it to his friend for $200.

This is not one of the earlier Dave Moulton bikes but similar build quality
I am in no way an expert and just not sure either way but I honestly believed that all of these were made by Dave Moulton.
Could this be another "homage" bike? even if so, it's a still a nice deal on the group but if real it's a fabulous deal!

Seller Not Responding
Quick question I would like some feedback on as I am a bit baffled right now I reached out to a seller from an ad posted here on FB Marketplace. It took the seller 1-1/2 days to reply to my offer to buy the bike. On my follow up I asked a couple follow up questions regarding the bike specs and the seller didnt respond. After 2 days I sent another follow up asking for a reply - nothing. I sent my final message today and still nothing and it appears the ad is still active online. Why would a seller quit responding to a sincere buyer? Do I have any chance of turning this around? Thoughts? Very frustrated right now....
