I have had this happen. Once the seller was an older woman that just didn't use facebook that much and forgot to get around to messaging me back. A couple of other times I creeped the sellers facebook profile and it was obvious they were a little flakey.

Send them another message politely indicating you are awaiting their reply.

In this case I know that is definitely not the situation as the seller markets himself as some kind of home bike shop pro. It appears he buys and refurbs bikes as his primary income. I did the polite waiting for a reply on message #2 and #3 so I feel like I am out of tries. The seller is in Toledo OH btw if anyone here is able to help me in anyway.

Vintage Raleigh Competition GS - $250 (Bridge City)1977, 25" c-c, for tall riders

This Raleigh competition GS bicycle has been hanging in the garage for over 20 years. It rode fine the last time it was on the road. One tire needs to be replaced and the pedals are nothing special. You can see in the pictures that there is obviously a lot of surface rust. The bike is mostly original. The saddle is newer. I think the 700c Mavic rims might have originally been Weinmann brand. The frame is Reynolds 531 tubing and the drivetrain is the original Campagnolo Gran Sport.

Interesting; I noticed the steering linkage right away, when I saw that the stoker and pilot handlebars were parallel. I totally missed the step-through geometry of the pilot section of the frame. Very cool; early version of "tall stoker" design.

Looks like they stripped the paint and re-decaled it. Pretty sure it is a Gap...late 80s perhaps. Full Dura Ace 7400 stuff? Reasonable price.

Actually a Miele. This one has a Columbus sticker and the forks are stamped Miele, not all Miele were stamped, most just had stickers.

That bike is a wreck, not only is the fork bent severely, but in the process of that happening it bent the top tube and the down tube. The only thing worthwhile on the bike is what appears to be Suntour BL rear derailleur, so I guess you could salvage the components and throw away the frame.

never heard of this custom marque (Hedgehog) but looks like a deal for a complete OS-EL frame with Campy stuff and Joe Bell paint for well under a grand. My only quibbles would be the CF fork (not a fan) and the fact that it's just a hair too tall for me! somebody is gonna grab this, hope it's one of us!
