An interesting listing in Fresno. They're selling 6 built up bikes and 7 frames for $700 or a high end european bike. Some brands/models that will catch your eye: Legnano, Italvega, Nishiki Medalist.
Looks to be a great deal for anyone who has the storage space!

Marinoni, NOS apparently. $4k. Says it's a 55cm frame..looks more like a 59 to me. New Glarus, WI
**edit: I emailed the seller. He knows it's a 55..said Marinoni's tend to look large.

Of course, this is a relative scale as they were all high-end bikes.

Bikes are okay, I guess.

Is this a PX10? It certainly doesn't appear to be a run of the mill OU8 FB Market Place Washington DC $500 https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...6675983371696/
" "Very interesting Peugeot PX-10 in XL (60cm) size. I did a sympathetic ‘restoration’ in this bike. Replaced the original plastic Simplex rear derailleur with a metal one (same date code as the other parts though). I took the tubular wheelset off and replaced with clinchers. They’re mis-matched, Campy front, Miche rear. The Normandy Professional tubulars could use some work......" "

1974 Catalog. Did iii get the right page? I guess some of these did have plastique RDs.

Anyone looking for an Alpina Ultima? I'd be happy to facilitate.

bicycle frame material: other/unknown
bicycle type: mountain
brake type: caliper
condition: salvage
electric assist: none
frame size: Large
handlebar type: other/unknown
make / manufacturer: UNIVEGA
model name / number: alpina ultima
suspension: none (rigid)
wheel size: other/unknown
This is a really nice, high end vintage UNIVEGA mountain bike that my father gave me many years ago. It was made in Japan and has Tange Champion Chrome Molybdenum, Double Butted Steel Tubes throughout.
Unfortunately it skips gears sometimes, and I don't know how to fix it. I am not a bike guy, but I would bet someone who is familiar with these systems could probably get it going pretty easily.
Even though this is a really nice bicycle, I'm letting it go for $50 because I don't have the time or skill to get it fully functional again. Please email, text, or call me at show contact info if you are interested. Thank you :-) CHRIS

Thank you for this!!! This ad brings back a lot of memories. I had forgotten how many models they offered! But at $700 for that frameset is a screaming good deal as would be the bike with campy at $1299.00!!!!!
