Well as we know, I'm as big of a Merz fan as anyone.

This pricing is very optimistic IMO, the frame he made for himself didn't even sell for that much here in PDX a couple of weeks ago.

And it is interesting to me that an insider that worked at the shop where this was sold new and later has to list on CL to try and move it along.

I paid less than that for the first two completes I have.

These frames were imported into the States by Ten Speed Drive in Florida for a few years. I bought the frame used & found a Dura Ace seven speed group with Italian bottom bracket. The wheel set is a sew up set with nearly unridden Continental tires that were put on by the Vertical Earth bike shop in Coeur d’ Alene Idaho a few years ago. We are moving & are looking to thin the collection. If we can locate someone interested in a few (or better) bikes we will send the pictured bike rack along with them.

​​​​​​Celo Europa is made by Colnago. This is the same as a vintage colnago super except it has different pantographing. Size is 60cm ctc, and 58cm top tube. Rusty fork but no damage.

Windsor Bike for Restoration - $125 (Newport News)

Offered is a Windsor Bike from the early 80's. It has been in an attic for a very long time. The condition is a mess. It would be a complete project. However I guess it could be useful for the frame or parts but I hope someone with skills could return it to be road worthy. The frame and wheel size I posted is only a best guess as I do not know. ( The original owner has passed)

Colin Cape Frame and Nice Vintage Components - $200 (berkeley)

Colin Cape (fine English frame builder) frame from the 1970s, I think, with some nice old components: Campagnola Nuovo Record rear derailleur, Cinelli handlebars and stem, Legnano hubs. I bought the frame used around 1980 and assembled the bike with a hodgepodge of quality parts, most of which I bought new in the mid-70s. Paint on frame is very rough, but it is a quality touring frame, Reynolds 531 DB tubing, fancy Nervar lugs, etc. 58 cm. Good for parts or restoration

Yeah it's priced a bit high considering the rusty fork, BUT I always thought these "basically Colnago frames" with the flat fork crowns many Celos have/had was a nice combo. Sort of a little nod to DeRosa, also interesting that this one does not have the more typical (for Ernesto) Prugnat 62D lugs.
