Motobecane Grand Jubilee bicycle. I don't know much about bikes, but I knew this was a sweet bike when I found it at a garage sale. Like most treasures I buy at garage sales, I didn't need it, so my loss is your gain. It probably needs a tune-up and new tires, but I rode it when I got it a few times before hanging it on a hook in my garage. My garage is now full. Help me out! Nice vintage Italian bike, prpbably from the early 80s. Columbus frame and fork. Bottom bracket stamped 48 (for cm) and with the initials "FM" cut out from the casting. Ofmega crank and headset, Universal 68 brakes, Campy downtube shifters, Dura Ace front derailleur, Shimano 600 rear. Miche competition hubs and Araya rims with good Specialized 700 x 28C touring tires. Campagnolo seat post and Concor San Marco America saddle. Chromed fork and chain stay, nice decorative work on the lugs, Campagnolo dropouts (one rear adjuster screws is bent). Seat tube decals look to be smudged in a shop stand clamp, the top tube and downtube decals look pretty good. And there's that cool graphic of Francesco on the head tube! Please note that the bike is in Harvard, MA, not Harvard square...

Great vintage single speed Miyata in good condition. This bike was imported from Japan in the 70s and is a real gem. Rides and stops well... has some rusty spots that can be cleaned up. Is perfect for anyone 5ft7-6ft2

Available for pickup or inspection at Exchange Place PATH stop in Jersey City. If not familiar, it is 2 minute ride from Battery park (enter PATH at WTC stop at church st., and its the first stop on JC waterfront). You will not be dissapointed!

Also, I have MANY more bikes which I will either be posted shortly or are already listed... please search for 'exchange place' under bikes and my listings should come up as I use that phrase in the discription... Regretfully selling this beauty of a bike for what I paid for it. I was going to use it as a winter bike but it's really too nice and I'd rather just buy rollers.

The specs:
54cm frame, Suntour ARX derailleurs, Suntour Power Shifters, Sugino cranks, Weinmann brakes (recent pads) and rims (700c, 23c tires in good shape), Maillard hubs marked '83. 6 speed freewheel making it a 12 speed bike with a 52/42 up front.

Made from double butted Reynolds 501 Chromoly steel. Eyelets for fenders (I have a brand new set of Velo Orange polished aluminum fenders for sale also). No pedals included in sale, the seat is upgraded right now to one with a cutout but I can include the original gel Avocet one.
