Seller deserves an honorable mention just for the really poor photos and bar wrapping skills but the final photos shows the overall condition. Probably worth it just for the RD/FD/wheelset and cranks

Burley Tandem Rock-n-Roll Bike - $60 (Lexington)

I have a Burley Rock-n-Roll Tandem Bike. It's the perfect 2 person trail/mountain/road/cruising bike. Classic Burley lightweight ridgid frame. 18 speed mountain bike. Avocet leather seats. Zefal mud fenders. Index shifting and Disc brakes. Bike retails for over $800. I am only asking a fraction of its value, $60 because I rather see someone else use and enjoy this beauty. Bike is in Lexington Va. please text or call Five4Zero 793-0810 to see.

Those rare calipers were spec'd in need of radical bends in the cable to have the right level of friction for operation. Obviously a visionary mechanic.

Not a fan of the bar tape, but the painted lugs and black are pretty cool

Yeah, that is something I've not seen before either. I mean the Giordana bikes were created by Gita's owner to give him his own brand bike. Curious about the origins of this.

UPDATE: Talked to the owner and this is what he said. "This bike was custom built for me in Japan while I was assigned there in the 1980’s. I got into bike racing during my time in Japan. The bike was built by Mr. Sasajima at his shop in Tokyo."

It's a 60 cm frame and not the GITA we were thinking. Glad it's not a 56cm or I'd be trying to get it shipped.

Milano - Putina - $1,300 - San Diego, CA

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/...459851650.html
No idea on pricing . . . but if you are looking for one of these?

PRICE REDUCED!!! $1300 OR BEST OFFER.

"Milano frame hand built by Alberto Masi in Italy for Andy Hampsten.

It’s called a Milano because Masi had unwittingly licensed his name to another company and as a result could not use his name on this bike.

The bike was originally built for Andy Hampsten. Hampsten had been breaking frames and contacted Masi to build this frame for him. The 7-11 team mechanic Greg Honn built out the frame with Campagnolo components. Greg Honn later became an importer for Milano bikes.

As many of you know, Hampsten retired from competition and now makes custom bikes. This bike has a geometry that is very similar to his current designs.

I got this bike from my brother-in-law who is friends with many people in the cycling world. I am selling it because I don’t ride anymore.

Due to CL scammers I will not respond to any questions about availability.
I will delete this post when the bike is sold."

I'm assuming the frame was converted to a headless design? which I assume can easily be converted back? Did you keep the original quill stem when you made the conversion?

I will say this about your bike, it is a stunning looking frame and very unique looking, one of the best-looking frames I've ever seen!

Not mine (just posting finds), I am with you, the stem is jarring to me

This is interesting. I wonder how many strips there are per tube

Pretty much. Mine didn’t have the original fork and I use used some random chrome Tange fork I borrowed from the shop.

56cm Torpado Italian Frameset with Campagnolo Headset - $40 (South Denver)

Selling a cool project frameset. Torpado lugged frame with chrome headtube lugs and a really nice Campagnolo headset. The frame measures 56cm ctc on the seat tube and top tube. Asking $40 as pictured which is less than the value of the headset alone.
