60cm Seven Axiom S titanium road bike Campagnolo 11 speed - $2,400

The run-down:
-Axiom S (straight gauge tubing) 60x60 but looks larger with the long head tube. See build sheet in album. For reference I am 6'3" but it can accommodate someone taller.
-44mm head tube
-Uncut Tapered Enve Road 2.0 fork + Chris King Inset 7 headset
-Mix of Record, Super Record, Chorus 11 speed group
-New bar tape(not my finest wrap job, but not terrible)
-Newish KMC X11SL gold chain
-English BB
-Frame recently refinished with scotch brite and fresh decals applied
-I had to swap out the seatpost/saddle/stem to move to my new incoming whip, so those items are older "placeholders", but are fine to ride.
-Fits up to 28mm tires. Currently has 25mm on. Could benefit from some new tires.
-Wheels are Campy hubs to the best version of Open Pros 32H front/back

Minor heel rub on the drive side crank, slight scratches in clearcoat of rear derailleur, and a scratch on the headset top cap is all I spotted in terms of blemishes.

Details1991 or 1992 Merlin extra light. This is the 74th extra light made in Cambridge, mass, in the Rob Vandermark era. Size 56cm. Press fit bottom bracket, frame pump peg, 1”threaded campagnolo headset, 1”threaded aluminum sakae linage fx fork. Originally had multiple gears but was converted to a single speed. Shimano 600 shifters used as brake levers. Shimano 600 cranks, 172.5mm. Icon clip less pedals, Mavik ksyriurm ssc wheels(free hub body has spacers to allow use of a single cog). Surly singleator chain tensioner, American classic 27.2mm seatpost, selle Italian flute titanium saddle in great condition, profile h20 quill stem, 3t 40cm wide handlebar, zefal hpx4 frame pump.

juvela guesses on these kinds of things are frequently better than mine... But... The photo from a 1970's Crescent flyer mentioned the the cranks were their own design. Swedish bike makers often used components like cranks that where different from most Western European bicycle manufacturers from that era.

Here's some information that I found on the Classic Rendezvous website that discusses Swedish Crescent & Monarch bikes:

"[Crescent was] originally a USA brand bicycle [in the 1890's.] [Later] Crescent became a Swedish product:

[The] American company Western Wheel Works in Chicago (50,000 bicycles made in 1894) manufactured a more affordable bicycle line named "Crescent". ...these bikes were exported to Sweden via a stockholder company Aktiebolaget Amerikansk Cycle Import, Eli Pettersson & August Lindblad. In 1896 August and Eli imported 6,000 Crescent bicycles. Circa 1907-1908 AB Amerikansk Cycleimport started to produce bicycles with the name Crescent in their own factory in Sweden. It is unclear how they obtained the well known brand [name].

Monark, also known as Cykelfabriken Monark AB and Monark AB, was a Swedish bicycle, moped and motor-cycle manufacturer established in Varberg, Sweden in 1908 by the industrialist Birger Svensson. In 1961, Monark merged with Nymanbolagen (Nyman Compnies), Uppsala, Sweden to form Monark-Crescentbolagen or MCB.

From early 1960s, Crescent and Monark were actually the same bikes but with different colours, decals, badges, etc. They were the dominant brands in Swedish racing and also sold a lot in Norway and Finland. The famous Pettersson brothers, with three consecutive TTT worlds titles 1967-1969 rode these bikes, two of them, Erik and Sture on the orange Crescents while Gösta and Thomas rode the light blue Monarks.

In the late seventies the company marketed Crescent as the top end quality bike while Monark became a budget brand and was out of racing."
