*** Seller says it has 26in wheels which usually mean lower value but I believe the Duet had 700c and sure looks like it it photos **
https://myrtlebeach.craigslist.org/b...39858.htmlThis was made in Oregon in the early 90's when Burley was a "co-op" company, employee owned. Burley now makes high-end trailers and riding gear rather than trying to compete with Asian manufacturing. The bike was built with the utmost dependability in mind and made for long distance touring for serious bike enthusiasts. Gears are Sugino GP110, 18 speeds, 26” wheels.
Needs new tires

Peugeot Triathlon and an Anchor - $50 - Anaheim,CA
https://offerup.com/item/detail/9f94...b-2aa56781a124
I love these ads where you have to take both bikes - I bought a Schwinn Prelude that came with a rusty anchor of a bonus bike - the second bike did not fit in the car, so I left it in the gas station parking lot with a "Free Bike" sign. Someone was riding away on it before I pulled out of the parking lot.

Mid-eighties Bianchi Brava, made in Italy, with legendary Columbus tubing. Probably a 1986, before the Bravas switched to Tange/Japanese tubing. I have been riding this on and off for the past couple seasons and recently had the shifter cable and housing replaced. The bike is a joy to ride. I normally ride aluminum, but there's something about a well-made steel bike that you just can't beat. I am 5'-9" and the bike fits me well. The Brava was in the middle of the Bianchi line-up in the mid-to-late eighties.
The bike could use a tune-up as the friction shifting sometimes jumps in the easier gears. The more difficult gears shift smoothly. The brakes are a bit stiff, but totally functional. The frame has a few nicks/scuffs and is slightly faded on one side, but, overall, is in great shape for its age.
22in seat tube / 56cm frame.
Columbus Formula Two chromoly steel.
ITM Mondial handlebars, made in Italy.
Ambrosio 19 Extra Elite wheelset, made in Italy.
Suntour Sprint front and rear derailleurs, friction shifters.
Modolo America front and rear brakes.
Selle Italia saddle.
Front tire is a Michelin Lithion, rear tire is a Continental Gatorskin.
Lezyne water bottle cage included.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. If the posting is up, the bike is still available.
56cm Bianchi Brava with Columbus Steel - $450 (Newton)

1982? Univega Gran Rally in Greenville, SC - $50
I think this is a 57cm 1982 Univega Gran Rally - and if it was a 60cm it would already be mine! A whopping $50 in Greenville, SC.

Have a large road bike for sale, will probably be too big for someone under 6 feet tall. needs repair on the wheels but everything else works.

I’ve posted these here to ask the value because someone who doesn’t frequent the appraisal threads might want them
Are these NOS really worth 44 Euro plus shipping? There’s a guy on FB selling a red, green and blue set plus 3 sets of silver. I don’t really want friction shifters but these are tempting for the Speckled Trout Bertoni
Pics are from the internet for an example, not the actual shifters for sale.

That is a real hard one to guess - when was the last time they appeared for sale??? I have never seen them for sale. There seem to be no comparables for sale anywhere.
PS. Perhaps they'd be more affordable if you found a 2nd buyer and split costs from Europe to America??

Not sure what this is??
Noticeably there is no posting of the headbadge. Melton bikes had headbadges, also puzzled by the other names on the same bike (perhaps if someone is interested they could email Joe Skrivian?)

This is very unique 54 cm road bike. Appears to have been custom made for someone. Mike Melton’s name is on it as well as Stephen Bishop and Joe Skrivian. They all worked together on bikes for the Olympics for Huffy.
This bike has a 54cm Tange steel frame and a variety of higher end components.
Dura Ace cranks, friction shifters and front derailleur.
Campy seat post
Cinelli drop bars
Shimano 600 brake levers. Brakes are fairly ordinary and mismatched.
Araya 27” rims
Overall a very interesting bike, just too small for me.
Key words. Specialized, Bianchi, Campagnolo, Trek.

58cm Vintage 70’s Schwinn Voyageur Road Touring Bike Dura Ace - $250 (Mechanicsville)
Posted 2022-05-30 09:58

"58cm 70’s Schwinn Voyageur 2 for restoration. This is a rider, not a show bike. All original except bar tape & seat. One of the earliest Schwinn Voyageur touring models. Frame has several cosmetic flaws (scratches & paint chips) but no dings or dents. Nice vintage parts including 1st generation Dura Ace crank, bar ends & Le Tour long cage rear derailleur (used on touring Paramounts & early Voyageurs). If someone doesn’t want this locally after a few weeks I’ll probably end up parting this out. Thanks!
bicycle frame material: steel
bicycle type: road
frame size: 58cm
wheel size: 27 in"
