Keith, did you contact that guy with the Opus III? I now have all the components to finish my Opus and enough Superbe/Shimano 600 to complete the Performance Superbe too. Now all I need is time.

Vintage Raleigh 3-Speed Road Bike ~ Exc! - $1 (san mateo)

Date: 2010-10-11, 7:59AM PDT
Reply to: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/bik/2000114591.html

This is an early 70's Classic Raleigh 3-Speed Bike in excellent condition. A Medium 56 cm lugged frame with a 31" stand over fitting those about 5'4" to nearly 6' in height. Except for the handlebars, this bike appears to be 100% original. Brakes work great and the Sturmey Archer 3-Speed hub sifts perfectly. The Chrome Rims shine like new! At nearly 40 years old you will find a paint scratch here and there, but this bike has been very well kept and looks better than most bikes half it's age. Includes rear Cargo Rack for Market runs or School.

Asking $180 obo, cash only please. Thank you.

Univega model Nuovo Sport - Men's Aluminum Lightweight Bicycle Made in Japan. This is a Ben Lawee design with Mangalight frame, Mundialita seat, Shimano brakes. The tires are marked 27 x 1 1/8 & 28-630. The wheels are aluminum as well. Very well made bicycle in very good clean solid complete condition. The tires have gone flat from not being used for several years - they may still be fine but can't guarantee it. We have another Univega from the same estate we are offering this week as well.

1984 De Rosa Super Prestige, mint - $1350 (Somerville / West Newton)

Date: 2010-10-10, 9:38PM EDT
Reply to: sale-hfkfn-1999515406@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I'm looking for a rider for my 1984 De Rosa Eddy Merckx Super Prestige racing bike, in near mint condition. Fully overhauled, regreased, and ready for the road. Matching Campagnolo Nuovo Record group throughout, with pantographed chainring and Cinelli 1R stem.

Geometry: Seat tube, 58cm c-c, 59.5cm c-t; top tube, 57.5 c-c; Standover height 83.5cm (32 7/8"). 42cm bars. 5'10" - 6'2" range is ideal.

Phone number required for response of course. The price is firm - it reflects my actual investment in the bike - just looking for a good home for it.

Trades considered - vintage Italian Campy steel in 53-54cm frame size, or a modern Campy racer (maybe).

I am happy to ship it within the US for actual shipping costs (TBD) plus PayPal fee (about $40).

Bummer, if I still lived in Pittsburgh I could have picked up a road bike to match my 1989 Diamondback Ascent EX.

1989 Ironman Expert Dave Scott edition - $230 (McCandless)

This fall caught me with 3 bikes in my garage, which is 2 bikes too much, so ... one of them got to go.
For sale is my 1989 Ironman Expert Dave Scott edition.
Seat tube is 61 center-to-center, stand-over height 34".
Bike is in excellent mechanical order, everything on it works, and it needs nothing.
Wheels are true, new rim tape, new handlebar tape, new comfortable Cane Creek brake levers, new brake cables, new chain, smaller chainring and larger freewheel to help on hills, hubs and BB freshly lubed. Tires are not new, and have seen some usage, but still good, and are of top quality (Ultra GatorSkin, original cost $80).
Also included is Vetta cycling computer, with speed and cadence sensors neatly wired. Since wheel sensor is on a rear wheel, it is a great setup for winter use in trainer.
Asking $230 OBO, cash only please.

Up for sale is a MINT condition 1989 Panasonic DX-5000 bike. This bike appears to have only been ridden once and then stored in the basement since 1989. It retailed at $580 back then. It has 21 years of dust on it and I will leave the cleaning up to the new owner. $300 Contact Mark @ 253-227-3302

That guy in Chicago had a serious Circuit fetish, I saw at least three full bikes and one maybe two framesets.

I wonder if anyone from Bike Forums hit that up...

Hmm... and a Peloton. Couldn't quite tell if any of them were 24" frames. If anyone did go there, don't tell me about the 24" frame

48 cm (center-to-center) Battaglin racing bike. Completely tuned incl. new tires, cables, handlebar tape. Modolo brakes. This is a sweet little bike so if you want to try racing and you're short (5'2" or so) this is it. Very lightweight. I used it for triathlons, but I'm not doing those anymore.

I bought from him (guy in chicago) earlier in the year. he's a big schwinn fan and collects circuits. nice guy, helped me fix stuff I couldn't do myself.

he sold a red peloton over the summer for 300. it was in really nice condition, 58cm iirc,, but took a long time to unload
