Poor thing, rode hard and not even put away, just left out wet. Trying to figure out what that brake is, marginally resembes a roller-cam, but it's not (least I don't think it is, wouldn't imagine one on a bike like this).

Edited!: Ratrod bikes has a detail of the front brake posted, and it says Lee Chi sinepower. Those are scissor brakes.

U brake? U brakes and Roller cams both have bosses in the same location, which is too high to convert to canti or v-brakes. U brakes operate like centerpull brakes, but put the mounting hardware on the frame itself. Roller cams were supposed to be superior because the cam can provide variable pull..

Trek 531 - Santa Cruz, CA - $160

This very tall frame is for someone over six feet tall. The seat tube measures 25", the wheels are 27" and standover height is 35". Bike is in great shape, suffering more from storage than heavy use and is built with a lot of high quality components. SunTour Cyclone derailers, Dia Compe brakes and fancy French and Italian wheels with Campagnolo hubs.

Mid '80s (?) Nishiki tourer with cantis and cheerios, only thing ickier than the flat bar is the computer install job. Seller thinks the blinking lights embedded in the saddle are the deal-maker. Hmm, would modern aero Tektro levers pull those cantis properly? Oh no, N+1......

Just started work this evening getting my 710 operational again. It's such a fun bike. I had it converted to 650x38b, now going to 700x35c. If you're tall and looking for a great ride, this is a helluva deal!

what's special about the chrome fork? There was one listed cheap in Florida that sat for weeks at $200. If it were my size, I would have made the haul from Atlanta. The biplane I knew belonged, but I thought it odd that it wasn't paint matched to the frame.

This 18 speed bike is one of the last Lotuses to have been fabricated in Japan before the operation moved to Taiwan, and is an example of the amazing craftsmanship of late era Japanese road bikes. I love it but am finally coming to terms with the fact that it's too big for me. I am 5'6" and need a slightly smaller frame, so this would be good for someone 5'9" - 6ft tall. It has 28 inch original wheels and a Shimano groupset. It was just tuned up a few weeks ago and is ready to ride. The original bottom bracket was replaced in 2012 and should still be in good shape. I rode it all over NYC pretty much every day for 5 years so the exterior has some evidence of being locked up with various locks and chains etc. The dust coating it in the photos is pollen even from being stored in a garage.
1985 Gold LOTUS Touring Bike, Large - $250 (Franklin)

you guys in CA have all the good bikes on shopgoodwill. Nobody near Connecticut will ship a bike or I don't trust them to understand how to for that matter
