The frame is in good condition, recently replaced back brake pads. It has some chipped paint, could probably use a new chain, and in the next year or so new brake cables, so it is not in perfect condition but definitely safe to ride. My dad passed this bike on to me and it has served us faithfully since 1989 (had a major tune-up and brakes replaced about 3 years ago.) Fits someone who is between 5' 5''-5'10
I just don't get the use out of it that I think someone else would and these vintage steel bikes are special. Perfect for someone who is willing to put a bit of work into it. You are welcome to come give it a test ride before buying. Email me for location and to coordinate pick up!

Come to think of it, I might still _have_ one of these, with the reversible presta/schrader chuck. I honestly forget if I ever sold/gave it years ago. I'm sure fabled leather gasket is shot. I'll nose around the basement and let you know if I turn it up. Sorry I can't say for sure, the CRS is strong in this one.....

Sorry, I couldn't do it. The pump is down in Brooklyn, a suburb/exurb that's about a 40-minute drive, and these days I'm watching every drop of diesel I burn.

I think they may have re-placed it on ebay... Makes it easier to adjust the front derailleur trim function on the left lever...
That said, the shifters look like Sante as well...
You could probably buy the Victory replacement drivetrain for the return on the shifters and derailleur.
