FWIW - I’ve heard back on the Motorola. The seller sent more photos and I’ve agreed to buy it. I’m awaiting payment info. Seller seems to check email every three days or so. :/

Looks like a pure race bike...I'm probably a pass (tire clearance) but still sorely tempted and eyeballing it daily
...could be an uncommon gem for somebody.

(Yes, I also find the seatpost rage-inducing.)

I have a Phil Anderson Motorola frame from the same era with the same top tube cable treatment. My understanding is that the cables on the team frames were external to facilitate quick cable replacement.

@hazetguy
it really was not that "waay out there in the middle of nowhere", just a few miles off a major highway, exactly 1 hr from my house each way.
it was a beautiful morning for a drive in the mountains, and the seller was a nice guy. he has a Masi 3V for sale at this time, but it's too big for me.
Only been once to the entire state so was just guessing based on the map on CL. I think it was a very, very wise call!

I am selling a vintage French made Peugeot PSN 10 circa 1985 with a 63cm Super Vitus butted steel frame, Stronglight headset, SR stem, Phillippe handlebars, Shimano 600 Ab brake levers and 700c Mavic tubular wheels. This was a higher end model of its day and popular amount tri athletes. The only issue is this frame requires a 26.4mm Quill seat post which isn't the easiest to replace. Sold for cash and pick up only. Please mention name, item, a phone number for a response all other emails or texts will be considered spam and will be ignored. Thanks

Griffin - $250 - LA, CA
Dent in top tube
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...tory_type=post
"This was a custom built bicycle from the mid-70’s built by Wilshire West bicycles of West Los Angeles. The frame is Columbus double butted, very light steel tubing. It is built around Campy Nouvo Record components, built by Jim Holly who was well known for his custom bikes and beautiful lug-work. Yes, the bicycle needs some TLC and a thorough chain and bearing cleaning, but she rides very well as-is. The top tube has a very small dent that literally happened the first day I had it, was admiring it leaning against a piece of furniture and it fell against the sharp edge of my coffee table. I brought it in to Wilshire West and Jim said it is nothing that would lessen the integrity of frame. I loved this bike and hate to see it go, but it hasn’t been ridden more than 20 miles in the last 5 years. It’s about 23.5”, perfect for anyone over 5’9”. Will sell with my ‘beautiful $300 Trek 410 sport’ - BOTH for $450. "
