The low price is due to 2 problems:
1) chain is not properly working (see pictures 2 and 3);
2) because of the chain problem, the rear gear regulator broke few days ago (see pictures 2 and 3).
After changing both it is going to be a perfect bike, but because I am moving back to my home country it is not worth-fixing right now.

Regarding the Trek in post #69827
Of course I bought it. It's in "like new" condition, because it was hardly ridden. I haggled a tiny bit, not wanting to disappoint the seller, and got it for two bills. Thanks to those who provided information.
