This Burley tandem is an older model, Bossa Nova that has a few cosmetic defects but is in very good riding condition. It has a triple crank and a 6 gear cassette (18 speed), bar end shifters, cantilever brakes front and back as well as a drum brake on the back for even greater braking. It has served us well as a tandem for many years, but we no longer use it.
Bring your own helmet if you plan on a test ride.

I believe it is a s type of brake where you had an upside down caliper that pulled to close on the rim.
A second one was much rarer and was simply an upside down letter "T" that pushed down on the tire itself. This one thankfully didn't last.
Haven't seen a recent either one in a long time. Possibly there's another type. Classic case of rare items that are neither valuable nor desirable
