A whole lotta tandems for sale recently. I thought I needed one a few years ago, but the little voice in my head (that would be my wife) asked where I would store it, how would I transport it, and who the hell would sit on the rear seat because it would not be her. I talked to the seller on this one awhile ago. Custom made in Japan if I remember correctly. Nothing to do with GITA the bike distributor.

Here's what I posted awhile ago about this one. "UPDATE: Talked to the owner and this is what he said. "This bike was custom built for me in Japan while I was assigned there in the 1980’s. I got into bike racing during my time in Japan. The bike was built by Mr. Sasajima at his shop in Tokyo."

It's a 60 cm frame and not the GITA we were thinking. Glad it's not a 56cm or I'd be trying to get it shipped."

@jamesdak - I recall now your comment (and that the bike was posted before).

I just attempted a google search for phrases such as "GITA Custom Bicycles Japan" and "GITA hand built bicycles", GITA Frame builder" etc. No luck.
I tried "Sasajima bicycle frame builder Tokyo" and "Sasajima Bicycles Store Tokyo". No luck either.

If it can be shown that the bike really was hand made (and anything found about the builder) then it would be a pretty cool bike to have.

Excellent fully rebuilt titanium road bike with all original Campagnolo group. Drive train is C Record 8 speed shifters with front and rear C Record derailleurs. Wheels are campy hubs with 8 speed campy cassette. Tires are Continental Grand Prix 5000 in good condition. Break calipers are original campy record set. Frame size is approx 54 -55 as this was hand built custom frame. Will fit a person 5-10 to 6-2 nicely. Will deliver if not too far.

Bridgestone RB-1 Bicycle - $700 (Wellfleet)

This is a classic Bridgestone RB-1, 12 speed bicycle from 1992.
All original except for the pedals which are new versions of the ones the bike originally had and new tires. Original Shimano 600 components, BAS 300 breaks, handlebar end shifters, Avocet saddle and Chromoly butted tubing.
Kept inside and not used much in recent years. Has a few knicks in the paint and a little surface corrosion in a couple minor spots on the cables but otherwise in great shape. Road ready.
These were well respected and well made bikes that still hold their value and durability today.
True classics.
Comes with pump and tire patch kit.

Nice upgrades for $120

Older Miele from late 80's. Lugged steel, I was told it was Columbus SL, but it was repainted as one time, so I really don't know Has Campagnolo Mirage derailleurs and brakes, Crank is Ofmega, I think. Has nice old Tommasini 3TTT stem. wheels are clinchers. tires are probably old and should be replaced along with the tubes. Asking $120, but open to offers, as we are moving. I measured it as a 55cm, C-C. Thanks for looking. PayPal or cash are OK.

This has been listed for a week or so "Alan bike", when I opened the ad it has a Coppi head badge and bars? Seller usually has nice bikes at fair-ish prices, but never more than $300 so this was an outlier. Apparently has Fausto Coppi written (faded) on the frame. "Coppi" bikes seem to span various builders and qualities (mostly low) but not entirely. Curious as to what this bike is, can't find another like it.
