Looks interesting, I guess.

Fifty Seven piece collection of seiss delta bicycle lights mount horns - $1200 (Inland Empire)
https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bik/2020602981.html

For sale is a 57 pc lot of vintage bicycle headlights and horns. What you see in the pix is what you will receive. Some are as brand new, never used and still in their original boxes, some are unused and not in their original boxes. Some are used but still in very good shape and the rest in varying degrees of condition from very good to some need repair. Above the pix I have written a list of all the items. Some pics show more than 1 view. There are two delta headlights that do not have bulbs in them, that is to denote that the previous owner bent the mounts for some dumb reason, otherwise all mounts are straight. All 21 4512 bulbs for the delta headlights are unused in their unopened boxes. The price reflects a cost that reflects that for the entire package you pay only $21.05 per item, and only $33.66 per light and horn if you don't count the bulbs!

So, we're pretty sure that this guy is a flipper who bought this for $165 on CL, put new bar tape on it and threw it up for $500 a month later. With that said.....he's lowered the price to $350. Seems like a deal to me.

Cash in hand and you probably can get it even lower. He will make some, you will get your bike. Go for it, good deal at $350.

Miyata 12 speed road bike - $125 (Littleton, NH)

Bought New in 1988 when I lived in Japan, Haven't used in a while. In good used shape with minor scratches. Nice tubular tires. Would need a tune up.
I called this fellow up and found out some more about this bike. I didn't interrogate him for all the details, but the basics are a 22.5ish inch aluminum "6000".

I found a 1987 catalog with aluminum Miyata's, but no 6000 exactly. I'm guessing it was either a Japanese market thing, or another year.

It sounds too small for me (the owner said it was too small for him, and he is a tad shorter than I), and its at the far end of the state, so without a car it's a bit of reach to go out there and get it.

He said he occasionally comes down state, I told him to call me if he does

This looks to be a half decent '60's Peugeot I assume? Sounds like something less than 50.00 will do it. The poor bike is caught in the middle.
Aren't those Mafac hoods somewhat rare? They look, along with the bike itself , to be in good condition. Those look like tubular tires as well. Come to think of it, I think it must be an early PA 10. If I was anywhere near there I would get it. I wonder if anyone here would be able to snag it for me and ship it - assuming it is as good as it looks. I really like that color. Besides, my first decent bike was a U 08 in 1972 and I have a soft spot for older Peugeots. Anyone nice enough to help out? (Assuming it has not been sold) I don't usually get too excited but this is one of those times.

Are you looking to spend $15+ with shipping for an old box? They don't make boxes like they used to.

If it's a Peugeot it's an old one. Chrome rear stays and cottered crankset. Wish I could help but I'd probably want to keep it if it was close

1985 Fuji Opus III
Hand built.
Serial number indicates it was the 62nd handmade cycle to be built in November of 1985.
49cm frame (measured from the top of the seat tube to the middle of the bottom bracket).
Some scuffs and chips on right side of frame and on the downtube by the bottom bracket.
700 x 23c Michelin A1 tires.
Araya "Super Hard" anodized rims.
Fuji chromoly Quadruple-butted tubing.
Fuji branded Suntour Superbe seat post.
Royal Gran Compe 400 brake calipers.
Shimano 105 shifters.
Shimano 600 SIS rear derailleur.
Suntour Superbe front derailleur.
Hatta Swan headset
Suntour Superbe Pro hubs.
Suntour Superbe cranks and pedals.
Shipping to Continental US only.
Shipping cost is $75 to $150, depending on how far you are from Boston, MA.

The ad says 1985 but graphics indicate 1986 (serial number prevails). Also, the shifters and rear derailleur should be Suntour Superbe Pro so it isn't completely stock. No bids on the e-bay auction and only one day left. Minimum bid is at $100 so it should sell.

John

I can help out if needed.

classic and rare Eisentraut roadbike - $400 (Boulder, CO)

Hey this bike is great! The frame is so sturdy, steel excellent craftsmanship. Could use a paintjob but this bike would be worth a lot more than $400 with a paintjob . I just need the money. Good bike to flip too if you don't intend to just ride it. It is equipped with classic Dura-ace components and runs like a charm. Earl Eisentraut was a frame builder in Oakland California who was the apprentice of one of the best Italian builders and for a while was considered if not the best builder in the USA but runner-up. The frame is pretty small so would be ideal for someone ranging from 5 foot to 5' 10" however I'm 6'2" and I rode it just fine because there is a lot of room in the seat post. This bike would look like new with just a little paint. Perfect bike for a guy who would want to paint it and give it to his girlfriend. Lights included. I got a quote from a knowledgeable guy saying this bike would be worth $1400 all painted and shiny, selling to the right person. It is perfectly fine now but if you just put a little money into it and flip it you would definitely come out on top. Please email or call me at 720-xxx-xxxx.

Rare German Adler Bike - $5 (campbell)

Date: 2010-10-26, 1:14PM PDT
Reply to: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/2027102704.html

I have for sale this very rare vintage German made Adler bike. The rear hub is stamped 51 so I'm assuming that it's the year. All original parts (except tubes and tires) and patina. The chrome is quite weathered and would need to be rechromed. Front rod braking system. I have the original seat but I changed it to a Brooks for riding purposes. After rebuilding and serviced this bike rides great. It is a single speed with 700c Bontrager tires. Original Bosch generated headlight and generator work great. This would be a great collction piece or a daily rider. I get complimented on it every time I take it for a ride. I saw another bike like this one but it had a 3 speed transmission instead of the single speed sell on Ebay for almost $9000 and it wasn't in much better condition than this one is. Asking 500 for this rare piece of Post war German history. Feel free to ask any questions. Call or text me 408-509-7486. Cheers
