Of course. Turns out I knew the seller, a fellow member of the local cycling club. Bike is quite nice and I didn't have an SL-tubed bike in the mix, but I'm not sure where this is going. I'll work it out quickly and if not I'll pass it on at cost, I only have so much room. I'd say I'm seriously starting to question my sanity but there's really not much doubt anymore...

I emailed the seller apparently while you were picking up the bike. He replied right after you left with the bike. If you do decide to sell I am interested!!!

That Merckx is something you don’t see every day. But the seller doesn’t seem to knowledgeable about Campanutella. “Merckx crono time trial 58cm full Campagnolo C-Record with Delta brakes. Ready to use or for collector.”. Isn’t this an early Mirage or maybe Stratos crankset? Looks like shifting would be awkward too.

Is that Trek a 23/59? If so after you take the almost NOS ‘kit’ off I’ll give you $30 for that useless frame and headset.

Beautiful custom handmade tandem - $750 (Philadelphia)

Up for sale is a gorgeous handmade Terry Osell fillet brazed steel tandem, with campagnolo dropouts. It comes decked out with top of the line parts from its era, and has been meticulously maintained. There are some minor scuffs and dings, but absolutely nothing structural, and the original paint still shines in the sun.

18” captain and 16” stoker.
