Seller bought it new at a Buffalo bike shop on December '87 and she:5'8! Stem is aftermarket, probably in a desperate attempt to make it actually fit.
Bike is dirty and cranks turned when I pushed it so freewheel is sitting with some oil dribbling in. I'll clean up over next few days. Seller had a private bike mechanic "tune it up" a few weeks back. Pretty poor tune up service but all in all a pretty nice bike.
Schwinn only made these for a year so a Premis is a reasonably rare beast, I might do a post later when it's presentable.
Unsure if Greenville Mississippi production or Japanese/Taiwanese?
