I wonder if it is the SL version of the Matrix/Cromor version. I think they are always the same color aren’t they?

I think so, I know the company but only know the bikes from her but other than a chrome I don’t think I ever saw other colors. For a Benjamin does SL or CroMor matter?

I am a big fan of Cromor. Great stuff. That is a super bargain or unbelievable bargain either way.

Seller still has some of the original parts and hanger is intact.

Chicago Single Speed Raleigh Professional

Raleigh Profesional 23.5" single speed - $300 (Logan Square)

This is a single speed conversion on a tall Raleigh Profesional frame. It's a Reynolds 531 frame that was a limited production from 1972. It was one of 500 made that year.

I used 28c Continental gator skins to insure a smooth, puncture resistant ride. The wheels have sealed bearings, stainless steel spokes and Weinman rims.

The chain, cog and chain ring are 1 1/8 for durability. The chain and chain ring and cranks are all brand new and the cog has limited miles.

The crowing glory of this bike is the TTT bar and stem that are wrapped in Brooks leather tape.

It's priced to sell. That said I have the original Campagnolo seat post and Brooks saddle. I will gladly swap it out for an up charge.

I'm an old school mechanic with decades of experience just trying to thin the heard. It's hard for me to let this one get away but situation demands that I do. Include your phone number for faster response. Check out my other listings.

is there more? The pics are real lousy, but I done see anything that looks worth $1000 individually. Aside from the mill I’m not sure the whole lot is worth $1000. To paraphrase Col. Meinrad von Lauchert “Projects! Too many projects”

SL, Alle, SP, CroMor…… they’re all just letters. In a truly blind ride off, identical built frames and components, I bet very few of us could actually spot the difference among many different tubes. (Of course this excludes shaped tubes like MS, Air, MAX etc)

The "lowest price frame is $1000 so don't waste my time and yours" - was not in the original ads

were also not in the original ad

Interestingly there are two different forks pictured...a chrome one on the built bike and a painted one on the frame shots.
