This is a Batavus "PERSONAL" delivery bike. It's black, has one speed, a coaster brake, a kick stand, chain case, racks, and a dynamo lighting system. I discovered it in the basement of the Smith and Butler boutique in Carrol Gardens last October.

I am selling this bicycle because my therapist suggested I need to come to terms with my attraction to african-american women. No sister is going to date a 34 year old systems administrator riding a european grocery bike. However, when I would cruise slowly down Park Slope's fifth avenue, panties would literally fly off of every white or asian woman with a stroller and a master's degree.

I live in Williamsburg now and the bike confuses most of the women here. If I grow my moustache out a little and explain it only has one speed "like a fixie" I can sometimes get to second base. But for the most part I might as well have a soul patch and collect classic cameras. If you want to get some action I'd only take this baby out south of Atlantic Avenue.

Spring is coming and if you like flat-assed waspy moms who went to Vassar, this is the ride you need.

Great bike in the classic Bianchi blue color. Great bike for someone who is 5'7" or so. Everything is great, but the gears need a little adjusting. Currently has a Brooks comfort saddle, but I will throw in a more standard road bike saddle.

I’ve kept these pedals for about 45 years so I could offer them here on CL. They’re from the ‘40s and are in good condition. Spindles and bearings work well. One had once been cross treaded, but still has it’s treads and will still mount properly; or being it’s the standard tread one (right side), it can also be easily tapped. Pedals have 4 wood inserts in excellent condition. Great for a restored classic. Cash.

I bought these wheels intending to build my ss into a 1x8 but fell back in love with mountain bikes... So they are up for sale.

Not sure exactly what model the hubs are, but they're Campy, spin nicely and look super classy. The rear is 8 speed with a cassette that looks to be in good condition. The hubs are laced to Campy's Athena rims which have some brake wear. Great for a training wheelset or a period build.

By the early 1980s he developed his own identity as a frame builder. Dave's reputation was that of making bikes that were no-holds-barred racing machines with virtual track bike geometry. Owners state that Tesch bikes are a blast to ride!
As happens so often in the handmade bicycle craft, business difficulties pushed him out of the craft in the 1990s.

Peugeot PX-10 reynolds 531 tubing made in france. in very good condition. a perfect fixed gear conversion as it has very few braizeons. all the cable guides come off giving a very clean appearace. Originally equiped with tubular tires. Most had been converted to 27's even as new, since that was the popular size back then. I have some vintage 700c mavic rims with 700x20 michelins now with helico hubs on the bike. the origingal owner swapped out the levers and shifters, to be more upright, as was the the way shops did it back then, but this bike is going to become a fixed gear for someone, i know that. I have been riding it as a nice retro ride, and it is really nice. $200 you get the wheels $100 I keep the wheels any less, the bike is not for sale. My winter plans are to change the bars to a more comfortable shape for me new brake levers, pads and ride it as-is.

the reynolds crown fork is probably worth 50 on ebay.
