eBay / CraigsList finds - "Are you looking for one of these!?" Part II
Senior Member
I'm glad it was convenient for you to pick up. Paint condition looks really good. I had a blue one and just recently sold it. I hope you will start a thread for this bike. I am sorry if my middle of nowhere remark offended anyone.

Pedal to the medal
Somebody loved that Gran sport, lots of upgraded parts on there. IF it was my size and local, I'd buy it even though I don't need any more bikes because... I just bought the Rodriguez posted a few pages back! It's currently with a friend in Tucson until I figure out a way to get it back to me. Will probably move the parts to a drop bar mtb build on a Trek 9xx and build it up for my lady friend, I learned the Stellar line was designed for female bodies. Kudos to 365geoff on the mercier, really hoping for a build thread.

It is indeed a strong, light crank. Also, they really want you to know about the new bottom bracket.
Seriously, someone spent a lot of money and time fixing up that Gran Sport, and now someone (else?) badly wants it gone. I would buy it if it weren't 3000 miles away.

Thanks for the additional encouragement, it may be worth a 200 miles round trip then.

It's more a dark, anthracite gray than black, isn't it?

Among the photos in the CL ad is a page from the catalog supporting that it is indeed black and a Campione del Mondo.
