Needs the back hub repacked, both wheels are straight as arrows

That one is curious. I purchased that bike in Toledo Ohio and tried to make it fit me. That pic is the as purchased pic and in my backyard. After finding a 57cm 1000, I posted this one here, and a member came from Elyria to buy it for his daughter out West. I think in Idaho. It had bar tape on it at sale time, and the purchaser told me later that he changed a few things to help it hold up for her. Curious that my “as purchased” picture would show up.

Schwinn World Voyageur 58cm. Needs restoration. Missing rear derailleur and hanger. Paint is pretty good. Chrome is in pretty good condition- a little surface rust on the rear stays. Wheels seem fine. May need fresh grease in hubs.

I checked some records and bike was sold without tape and over a year ago. Member here bought for niece, and not daughter. It was a nice bike. Perhaps the niece is no longer was using it.

As with any bike from an unknown builder I would highly recommend trying before buying. Amateur or low-production builders may do a good job on the construction but may have little idea how to design the geometry for a bike that handles predictably.
