A heck of a price for a rare bicycle.
Domenic Malvestuto was a legendary character in Arizona cycling. In the early 80s, I raced (first on a converted Centurion Super Elite, then on my Raleigh Pro) for Phoenix Consumers Cycling Club, and Domenic would be at most of the races with Team Strada, and his epic mangling of English pronunciation and boisterous yet (usually) friendly attitude made him easy to spot. I never did buy a bike from him, but he was generally well-regarded and long remembered by the Arizona racing and cycling community.

No idea what fair price is . . .
3Rensho (frame) - $700 - Azuza,CA
https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sg...573500097.html
"Classic Japanese lugged steel road racing frame with Ishiwata tubing. Structurally, the frame is great--no dents, no rust, is in alignment. The bottom bracket has just been faced, RD hangar has been aligned. It is clearly a bike that has been ridden over the years--there's paint wear, small chips and other blemishes. I have never crashed it, but the left fork arm has a scrape... maybe it's had one minor fall at some point. It comes with a Dura Ace headset for quill stems. BB is 68 mm, English threaded. Seatpost diameter is 27.2 mm. Seat tube is 58 cm c-c, 59.5 c-t. The paint is a beautiful metallic red. You can install downtube shifters, or it comes with the cable guides to let you use brifters. I even ran it for a while with SRAM Force eTap. Why am I selling? I'm wanting to get a slightly more relaxed fit, plus I have too many bikes and need to sell to finance some other build projects. I'm 6'1" and this is a "race fit". I'd say this was ideal for 5'10' to 6'1". How's the ride? Excellent! It has so much life--there's a get-up-and-go quality that's just addicting. It climbs really well and though it's comfortable on rough roads, it's still a really precise descender. You can see why these frames are so prized.
A great option if you're also looking for quality frames made from Tange, Reynolds, or Columbus tubing. On par with legendary frames from Cinelli, De Rosa, Colnago, Bianchi, and Pinarello."

I have its smaller twin in the queue from @diomekes . One of my favorite paint colors...tough to find touch up.

Those original Sprint saddles are interesting...

531 frame, and hi tensile fork I believe...

Interestingly upgraded with Tri-color and an AX stem. Came with a blue Vetta saddle if I recall (mine is a white turbo).

Original had the blue stem and Shimano 105 stuffage.

Yeah, I about 💩 ed my pants on the price! I thought you might find it interesting though...and in your neck of the woods (I think).

At that price I’d hope to get a Cinelli or something! Or a Subaru Forester...
