Cannondale T600 Touring Bicycle - $300 (Georgia Tech)

Reply to: sale-upv9e-2062916663@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Here is a beautiful 1992 Cannondale T600 Touring Bike in excellent condition. In perfect mechanical condition and has only a few cosmetic scratches on the top tube. Frame size is a 63.5cm (25in). It is a 21 speed touring bicycle that comes outfitted with an avocet odometer. I'll throw in the Cannondale rear bicycle rack for $20. Comes with Shimano Exage 400LX Crank, rear derailer, and front derailer. Down-tube shifters are Shimano RX100.

It is a perfect bicycle for commuting with the rear bicycle rack and braze ons in the front to put additional accessories. It comes with the two water bottle holders on the inner triangle, but those can always be removed to put other accessories. t's also great to take on weekend rides too. Overall, it is in excellent condition and a great buy. Originally sold for $750, so it's a steal at this price. Selling because I upgraded and this one just sits around.

1987 custom built Fat Chance for sale. The frame size is comparable to a 20" frame. The paint is two-tone with
custom markings in three places on the frame. The bike was painted by Hoss Rogers, the frame is signed and dated by him.
The wheel were custom built as well. Please see the pictures and let me know if you have any questions.

Trek 400 and Nishiki Tri-A12 w/ Shimano 600

Hey all,

Friends of mine and fellow bike flippers are selling two nice 63 cm frames... two big for me but they are nice and clean... especially the Nishiki. Bike season is ending in Colorado so I think the price maybe flexible. If anyone is interested I can pick these up and ship.

Vlad:

If the rear disc (looks like a HED disc) is not damaged, it alone could be worth $250 or more. I was going to look at this bike just for the rear disc but realized I had too many already. I live right next to Crystal Lake if someone wants a hands on opinion.

59CM Heron Touring Bike - $1400 (Weston)

Date: 2010-11-16, 2:51PM EST
Reply to: sale-eppce-2063810318@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

This is one of the original Heron Touring frames. I have built it up for touring and all around riding. The frame was designed by Grant Peterson of Rivendell and Bridgestone and was silver brazed by Waterford Precision Cycles. The frame size is 59cm. You can find the geometry on the Heron Bicycles Website. This frame has round fork blades, long horizontal dropouts and is made of Reynolds 531 steel tubing. The frame has clearance for tires of up to about 40mm.

The Heron Touring was designed shortly before the Rivendell Atlantis and has a lot in common with the Atlantis. The geometry of this bike is almost identical to the 58cm Rivendell Atlantis. The Heron has the advantage of being made in the US, having clearance for larger chainrings, and having a nicer paint job, in my opinion.

All parts on it are in excellent condition and most are new. The photographs below show the bicycle exactly as it will be sold. The parts spec is as follows:

• Frame and Fork - Heron Touring
• Brooks Saddle
• Handlebars - Nitto
• Stem - Nitto
• Wheels – Front hub-Shimano Deore hubs, Rear hub-, Shimano Deore XT, Mavic rims. 36 spoke. Built by Harris Cyclery.
• Crank - Sugino XD2 175 46/36/24 with BB 13 Tange cartridge bottom bracket (brand new)
• Gearing - 48/38/24 chainrings, 11-34PG980 9sp rear cassette
• Shifters - Shimano indexed bar end shifters, 9sp
• Front Derailleur – Shimano 9SP
• Rear Derailleur – Deore XT
• Brake Levers - Shimano
• Headset - Tange 1" threaded

The frame is NEW. It was never built up until now. The paint has a very nice sparkle to it that is hard to see in photographs.

Interesting craigslist post. He wants to sell it all but not all of it for a deal of the day ($1000). $2000 gets you everything BUT:

TONS of Wheels!!! But NO Replacement 27inch Wheels.

NO MODERN ALUMINUM ROAD FRAMES

NO 80's Collectable or Desirable BMX

No 10 speed Modern parts.

Prices will be very reasonable, but please do not expect Campagnolo - Dura Ace or other Hard to find items to be $5 or $10 bucks.

Most everything is of 80's/90's vintage.

Not sure he has anything worth $2000.

Raleigh 735 Frame / Fork 63.5 CM / 25" USED

$20 opening bid, ending soon.

This post from Kurt referencing the 73.5 cast in the seat lug places the frame as a late 1986 or so, and with the down tube shifter bosses, but no eyelets, I can't imagine it's a bad frame. I just can't bring myself to start another project right now.

Hmm, the Circuit frame set is the only one up right now, at a reasonable price IMHO. I don't think I want to buy another small for me 23" frame at the moment, but if somebody wants to drive a bargain with multiple items, PM me

Here's a rare find, an all 531 lady's bike from 1950. Appears to be the Norman "Invader" model (equivalent to the Raleigh Clubman). Note the Sturmey Archer hub with wingnuts! Selling for a song, but unfortunately it's in Houslow, a London suburb.
