Pricey, especially since it's been set up with Tiagra but if you've just gotta have a 46cm/650c Landshark built from Tange Prestige...

Detail of extra-fancy paint for posterity:

Headset suggests a Tricolor spec originally.
Tiagra?
Sigh.

That Raleigh Super Course Mixte above has an interesting handlebar setup -- inverted or "time trial" brake levers that mount in the bar ends. They're easy to see in the Facebook ad.

I had given up on Northroads-type bars except for my commuter, because when I'm riding along in steady state, so to speak, I want to stretch out a bit and grab the fronts of the bars... and then I don't like being far away from the brakes. The commuter has a coaster brake, so that's one way around the issue, plus I don't go far on it.

These backwards brake levers allow running the brake housing along the bar and would make it possible to install interrupters in the forward position.
I like the upright bars for riding in town just fine, and maybe I'll get one of the Nitto/Rivendell bars and try this setup.

Since that's work and I'm lazy -- has anyone tried something like that?
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, and I hope y'all don't mind the thread tangent.

cheers -mathias

Saugerties is adjacent to Woodstock. If it was still available I would have gone tomorrow when I'm there. It's down now so I hope one of you got it. It's too small for me but at that price I couldn't hold back. Thanks for sparing me...

Well If anyone here got it, I'll double their investment. Hopefully it wont get stripped of its parts, but I'll be watching for it to be flipped next week. Not that I can afford NYC flippers prices.

This is a bit small for me, fortunately:

https://vermont.craigslist.org/bik/d...575507963.html

The seller thinks it's a Bianchi, but I have no idea if that's right. The headset looks French to me, but then there are the Campagnolo dropouts. Seller can't find a serial number. Looks like a repaint, so the only sure thing is that it's a steel frame with a Reynolds sticker. But could well be worth the asking price.
