For sale my big old Schwinn Paramount. I bought this as a bare frame a number of years ago and built it up largely with period correct parts. Unfortunately there is no serial number legible, there are no decals and the headbadge is missing. The headset Campy is original to my purchase, the wheels are Campy hubs on Matrix 27" rims these are from an old early '80s Trek, Suede saddle on 3ttt post, the cranks are triple Stronglight on a Stronglight spindle with Campy thin bottom bracket cups, the pedals are MKS black plate pista, Suntour ratchet shifters with ARX front and V-GT rear derailleurs, the brakes have extremely rare and in great shape 1967 Weinman red push button quick release levers and with Weinman 610/750 centerpull calipers, the biggest upgrade is the handlebars and stem both are Cinelli, Kenda touring tires are new.
This bike was manufactured circa 1972-74, the frame is in good shape no dents or dings no surprises, the chrome is ok good on the lugs but is thinned on the socks, the paint could be a repaint has seen better days is ruff with some bare spots. The hubs, bottom bracket, and headset are rebuilt with Marine grease will not need any service. I apologize for not having bartape
