I like Serottas as much as the next guy (I own a late 70s instance), but I don't know why anyone ever thought carbon forks -- especially on a steel frame -- was a good thing. Talk about fugly, especially when its color makes it stand out from the rest of the bike.

1989 Miyata 1000lt touring bike in good condition. Serial # QU 48912. I've owned the bike for approx. 18 years. Very comfortable for touring or would be a terrific city bike with some small changes. Approx. 33" stand-over; 23" top tube (58 cm.) and 23" seat tube length.
Nitto handlebar, Mavic wheels/rims, Shimano 105 and Exage components; Wright vintage leather saddle, bar end shifters and MKS platform pedals.
Extras include: Tubus racks and Ortlieb waterproof front panniers in excellent condition; Axiom handlebar bag; Sunlite rear bag and SKS fenders. You're ready to ride with this set-up.
