I'll bet the threads are good, between these, crank dust caps and SP binder bolts, they wouldn't have that good of a rating if not.

Also, these appear to be very close to the older versions of the real thing to my eye.
Agree, they do look closer to the originals, particularly the early steel versions. Alloy is a bonus, and the Campagnolo stampings look very well done. Looking forward to hearing your assessment once they arrive, as I have that auction on 'Watch'.

You'll have to tell us if they can be tightened down/removed using the Campy tool; as noted, the serrations look somewhat shallow - and, of course, they're alloy, so would be easier to tear up without a solid interface with the tool.

They are alloy - the seller states as much in his auction title.

Hope this helps someone out.
I was wondering where all the pedal dust caps go. Like the left socks in the drier.

Thanks for the tip.

I have done 5 different transactions with these good people. Each part has been perfect. I'm just mad I didn't visit them when I was in the area last may.

No, Mine are not alloy. Thank you very much. I am quite capable if identifying my own pedal caps! The seller offers both types and mine are the plastic versions. If you doubt my qualifications to identify these I am the only one of the two of us that is certified as a Campagnolo mechanic by Bill Woodul of Campagnolo NA, I am also a former team Mechanic for the US Olympic Team and Mavic Neutral Support Mechanic for the TDF.

Whatever, man. I was referring to the caps in the auction link provided by @merziac - which is for the seller's aluminum caps.

I didn't read between the lines and assume you were talking about a different auction altogether (albeit from the same seller). Perhaps you might have clarified what version you decided upon, and this misunderstanding would've been avoided.

Brooks B15 Swallow Saddle - $75 (North Stonington.CT)Mint Condition Brooks Swallow Saddle - Black Leather, Chromium plated Steel Rails. 490 grams.
This is the classic Brooks Saddle. It came on a new bike. I never sat on it. I use a different style saddle.
My butt is too old for this type these days.
The item is flawless

Well efbay says it will take a couple of weeks but will do.

FWIW I find the MKS tool works as well or better on some Campy caps so we'll see when they get here.

I usually find that the caps that work good start well by hand and thread on most all the way.

Shoot, an 1800 mile round trip is just a 4-day road trip through bad winter weather, with the possibility of the seller pulling a "no show". What's the problem?

Just kidding, obviously. But I can sympathize.

Might want to start a thread requesting help vice posting the request here. And if you do, post photos of the bike in your OP. You now should have enough total posts to do that, and photos will be necessary to help ID the bike.

Ti Serotta with Campagnolo and a travel case for $900!
Seller admits she/he doesn't know anything about the bike (made in Italy? 33" size?)

I have a Serotta Fierte bicycle purchased at wheel works in Somerville. Made in Italy. It has Cane Creek handlebars 52/big piega, 10-speed centaur brakes, k-ems pro OS forks, veloce - duralor, there is also smalls that come with this bike, sterling CO2 inflator, two Cannondale inner tubes-700x18-25C, pro patch tools and a few other items. The bike storage / travel case comes with it. I know nothing about this bike and will answer all questions and provide any additional photos. Please only serious inquiries. I will not ship this bike ,will be sold face to face and the bike will need to be paid for in cash. Wheel works in Summerville told me the bike would sell for approximately $2,000 and I've learned that not to be true. I am cutting the price to $900 because of that information. The frame is 33 in.
