Really cool bike but people start to lose their minds with asking prices when they slap some American made parts on their frames. Unless I am totally off, I don't think they are likely to get remotely close to half their asking price even for a cool vintage custom frame/stem and bars with nice parts.

Mercier 300 at $350
21 inch 70s era Mercier 300 for $350 in the Chicago area. The bike looks to be in good shape cosmetically and have mainly original parts other than the rear derailleur which is a suntour on a claw (hopefully the drop out hanger is still intact). That's not a screaming deal at $350 but certainly not a crazy price either.
