Must sell - moving. A beautiful collectors bike probably worth much more than I am asking.
Phone: xxx-xxx-xxxx.

The lug work looks pretty crude for a Confente; I suspect a fake.

I thought that, too, but the seller claimed he bought it used in 1982, so I doubt it would have been counterfeited then. There are some photos on the internet with lugs that look similarly pedestrian. I know the guy who bought it, and he's convinced it's real.

I'm selling a very rare and collectible Bridgestone XO-1. If you're looking at this ad, I'm guessing you know the history of this bike. This bike was only made for two years, 1992 was the first year and it was a limited production run of 1,000. This bike is completely original, except for the tires and saddle. Frameset is rust and dent free, components in great condition, everything is tuned and ready to ride. Frame: 1992 Bridgestone XO-1, Ishiwata triple butted CrMo tubing, 55 cm.
Fork: Bridgestone XO-1, CroMo with Atlantis cast crown. Clearance for up to 1.6" tires.
Wheelset: Araya RM-17 32H, silver with Shimano RX100 hubs and 15ga Wheelsmith spokes.
Tires: Ritchey Tom Slick Comp, 26 x 1.4.
Cranks: Sugino GP, 175mm and 110/74bcd.
Chainring: Sugino 50x36.
Cassette: Shimano Deore DX 7spd.
Front Derailer: Shimano 105.
Rear Derailer: Shimano 105.
Bottom Bracket: Sealed, bolt type.
Headset: Shimano Ultegra 600 with 10mm spacer.
Chain: Shimano Hyperglide.
Stem: Ritchey Force, CrMo 1" quill, 100mm, 90 degree road stem, TIG welded. Made by Nitto to Ritchey's specifications.
Handlebar: Nitto Moustache 26.0 road clamp, heat-treated 2014 T6 aluminum.
Shifter: Shimano Ultegra bar-end.
Brakes: Dia-Compe BRS 300 sidepulls and lever with Kool Stop salmon compound pads.
Pedal: MKS Sylvan Track pedals, with toeclips and leather straps.
Seatpost: Sakae CLE 100, 220mm, 27.0mm.
Saddle: Brooks B17, black.
Let me know if you have any questions. Asking $1,200 obo, please no low-ballers. Cash only, not interested in trades. Thanks for looking!

David Tesch Vintage Campagnolo road bike - $999 (La Mesa)

Date: 2010-12-01, 9:47AM PST
Reply to: see below

This is a Vintage David Tesch 49cm road bike. Super custom with awesome pantograph cutouts on the fork crown, lugs, and brake bridge in rear. One chainstay is chrome. Campy record hubs/ Mavic rims. Campy shifters and Derailleurs, seatpost and seatpost clamp. The brakes are higher end Modolo with original brake pads (serial numbers are etched in the pads). Campy pedals(clight crack on right pedal), Campy cages,C- Record straps. Cinelli stem and Bars. The bikes condition is great but there is a small ding under the toptube and very slight oxidation. Also, the BB lug is Cinelli, I've never seen that before, thought that was pretty cool.

This bike was professionally tuned up by a bike shop. BB overhaul, Headset overhaul, hub overhaul, polish work done. Truing and other adjustments. Complete tuneup.

Whats new on the bike: Continental tires, rim strip, tubes, Cables, cable housing, Bar wrap.

These frames alone have sold on ebay for $700.Do your research on David Tesch, he is a famous frame builder from the 80's. He resided in San Marcos where he built his own line of bikes, US 101. I definitely am looking to get around $999 for this complete bike. Serious inquiries only please. email me for more pics.

I just posted it because I thought I read somewhere that these are rare.I recently became a C&Ver myself so very limited knowledge. I am a C&V novice and know nothing about Raleighs. So tell me are they rare or worth it? Incidently, I live in the Richmond area. So if anyone jumps on this and works out a deal I can help with shipping. I have a UPS account and a daily pickup through my work.

I remember someone looking for a rigid fork large mountain so figured I'd post this Ross in case they are still looking. No model info but the chrome frame does look nice for $75.

Looks bigger than my 24" model, which leaves the 25.5" model, or 64.8cm.

The guy who picked it up said it's marked '23' for the 23rd frame built, so likely an early one. I'm sure more details will appear soon from the new owner. I'll try to forward them to you if/when he posts them.
