Custom Columbine Road Bike, size 54-56 cm. This bike was ordered from Columbine Cyclery in 1994, delivered in 1995. Everything about this bike is custom. The paint, custom lug work, wheels, components, handlebars, seat, etc. The frame is a custom steel & the cost was $2,500. It weighs in at just under 20 lbs! Components are Campagnola Chorus throughout and was approximately $1,500. The pedals currently on this bike are clipless speed play. This bike has less than 1,000 miles on it and has NEVER been ridden in inclement weather. It has been kept indoors for its entire life when not ridden. Every other year it has recieved a tune up from Bicylce Pedaler with linseed oil applied inside the head tube for protection. I hate to part with it but I don't ride much anymore. The builder of the frame is John Murphy from Columbine Cyclery(found online) & can confirm the build date & the custom work done on it. The frame took longer than usual to build because John had broken his arm during production. I am asking $1,700 or best offer.

You can text me at 316-990-5762 or email me for more information.

I wish that it were my size. That's pretty darn close to the same exact "Brandywine" paint that they used on the classic 60's/70's muscle car Chevelles....Love that color.

The good news, seller is willing to deal.

The bad news, Lodi seems to be where
a lot of the stolen stuff ends up around
here. No accusation or judgement of
this particular seller. My recent favorite
CL Lodi ad involved a Felt "rode bike". :roflmao2:

Caveat emptor,

This one is pretty bastardized, but is a Columbus frame and has a few Campi parts remaining. If anybody wants better pics, I can email them to you. I've been in contact with the seller. Then again, the price may be right for you tall guys out there. ... $250.

Battaglin Italian Racing bike. 1987? (Grand Prairie)

Reply to: sale-rnxhj-2097975834@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I am selling a Battaglin Italian racing bicycle, I would call the Condition of this as good, and was a lucky find, I was told it was in a storage shed for 18 + years and not seen the light of day till last Friday,, Please look at the photos closely, There is some paint and decal loss surface rust , everything on the bike looks to be original, and moves freely , But not sure if the Look pedals are original ? All controls, brakes, gears, Ect. are in working condition. The seat is torn and has tape on it., Nothing looks bent or damaged, wheels run straight. I am not 100% positive but I think it is a 1987 Columbus. Shoot me a offer not sure of its worth , but do know enough not to give it away, I will be putting on flea bay tonight on auction if no interest here.
I am selling this bike as I found it, have not tried cleaning it up or lubed anything, Be a great bike for restoration, as it is complete, and sought after. What I know about it, I looked up on the net.

Thanks for looking.

If you need more better photos let me know, can email you some.

Extremely Rare 1983 DeRosa. 50th Anniv Campy Edition. Fire Red/Chrome - $420 (Berklee/Symphony/Mass ave)

Reply to: sale-g77fr-2100085241@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

This is a big one...Read carefully as there is a lot to this very special frame. It is a 1983 DeRosa, 59cm, bottom bracket made by Cinelli (common practice, an stamped into the frame) with japanese lockring, Columbus Tubing(including chrom fork), 50th Anniversary chrome campy fork ends and campy dropouts. I aquired this frame from a famous bike shop in Philadelphia, the shop professionally repainted it a stunning "Lava Orange/black and chrome" that will catch anyone's eye.

The paint has a few very, very slight knicks in the paint and be easily touched up to smoothed down. DeRosa is know for its "hearts" in the well crafted Lugs, as shown in the picture below. I suggest that if you do not plan to ride this frame, wrap it in plastic wrap, bubble wrap and put it away for a long long time as an investment. If not, Ride the S*&% out of it , as I can only imagine how it rides.

The "Bill Nye the science guy" of cycles can explain a bit better on its worth and ranking among DeRosa's elitesism in the cycle world. ...copy and paste link..> http://sheldonbrown.com/vrbn-a-f.html#derosa

who was asking about a tandem? I mean besides me? here is a nice looking Cannondale in lancaster Pa 1200$

http://lancaster.craigslist.org/spo/2024210545.html

Customized Cannondale Road Tamdem - you will notice that this bike has a Teal into Purple chameleon paint job, which is covered with padded covers on each tube for protection. This is one stunning bike!! You will get comments galore on how beautiful it is. Customized? You bet - Magura hydraulic brakes with thumb lever shifters give instant response to any of the 21 speeds. The brakes will keep you under control even coming down the Rockies! And if you need more control the stoker has a drum brake -drag brake. Shifting is done via thumb levers into Shimano XTR long cage shifter. The Logic cranks are fitted with SPD clipless pedals for perfect pedal control. The tires ride on Sun 48 spoke rims. So with the sealed bottom brackets and the sealed wheels, the brakes and the carrier bosses front and rear, this tandem is made for touring. And it does it in STYLE! Both the stoker and the captain have the information needed via the two computers installed. The seats are comfortably fitted with sheep skin over an Avocet rear seat on a suspension tube and a front Flexion seat for a soft ride. Frame size is 23" front and 21" rear.

Holy moly, looks like 312 Cycles is attempting to liquidate a sizable stock of steel bikes, wheels, and parts, basically the contents of his shuttered store and personal riders. I have nothing for or against this guy, but he has ruffled a few feathers in the past. I can empathize with how tough it is to be in the bike business though. There are more pics in the CL ad. I cannot facilitate. For better or worse, here goes nothin:

Parts - Bikes - Parts and Bikes For Sale! Bucktown / Wicker Park , Chicago

Please Read Entire Ad Before Responding, maybe read it twice!!

As I am in desperation mode right now, I would be willing to sell off lots of $300 Minimum. Bikes, parts, either way. IF YOU ARE SERIOUS, I will give you rock bottom prices.

This is a GREAT Investment opportunity. If everything was sold off at fair market price, it would bring at least $20,000. I need to sell a couple thousand dollars ($2000) worth ASAP!!! If there is anyone willing to spend "at least" $1000 today, I will give you the deal of all deals, but NOT the entire lot to clarify that to some.

Maybe my idea of deals is not what yours are, let me give you some examples.

How about 50 Sets of Assorted Handlebars and 50 Stems - This includes Cinelli Drops and Stems, Nice Riser Bars, Nice Threaded and Threadless Stems? $5 each if you buy them all!!! All useful and salable, not garbage that will lay around for years, I donated all that stuff to The Recyclery.
Each bar/stem is worth a MINIMUM of $10 with most going for $15 and approx. 25% for $30 each. That is $500 for all and you can sell them for $1000-$2000.

How about 75 Wheels, all straight and ready to go. Mostly in sets with 25% being single wheels. Some VERY nice wheels and sets. $25 per wheel. Each wheel is worth at least $20 with 75% of them being worth at least $50 per wheel. I don't even want to talk about how much money you would make on an $1800 investment.

How about Bikes? $200 Each if you buy 10, I have about 30 complete and 25 Partial bikes. Each complete bike would be worth approx. $400 and sell easily in the spring. $2000 investment brings you $4000 easy.

So as you can see, I only quickly stated $8000 on three items. I also have hundreds of brake sets, cranks, derailleurs, small parts worth hundreds and thousands, racks, tires on and on......

I will take best offer on EVERYTHING. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!

Do it before Friday, Bring your Truck and I'll take $8000 for everything. Shelving and Storage bins included.

START YOUR OWN SHOP!!!

Most of the complete bikes and frames are 54-58cm with the majority being 55-56cm which is my size.

Most everything is of 80's/90's vintage. Some wheels and other parts from the 00's, but not a lot. Mountain Bike parts from the '00's.

Email with a PHONE NUMBER and YOUR INTERESTS and I will get right back to you.

But please do not ask me for $2 and $5 parts, I need to sell thousands, NOT a few dollars of parts.

No Walmart/Kmart/Target stuff.

NO 80's Collectable or Desirable BMX

NO Cheapo or Replacement 27inch Wheels.

TONS of Wheels!!! But NO Cheapo or Replacement 27inch Wheels.

TONS of ROAD DROP and Flat Straight HANDLEBARS!!

NO MODERN ALUMINUM ROAD FRAMES

AGAIN NO 80's Collectable or Desirable BMX

No 10 speed Modern parts.

Thanks and Safe Riding!
