Beautiful Vintage Raleigh Grand Prix - $350 (Ipswich)This bike is a beauty from 1984 and is pretty much original. However, the original saddle had to be replaced due to deterioration of the materials, as did the seat post, tires, inner tubes and inner and outer cables. I also installed a new cassette and chain. It currently has SPD SL pedals attached and you are welcome to them or I can remove them for you.

Frame tubing is Reynolds 555 SL and I think it is in the 55/56cm range. I am 61 tall, so the shown saddle height should help give some indication of fit. Wheels are Raleigh branded aluminum 700c x 25mm and the tires are Continental GP 4000. The wheel bearings were replaced and repacked. The cranks are also Raleigh branded and the brakes are Dia-Compe AC 500 single pivot side-pulls. It has a twelve speed Suntour ARX drive train with downtube friction shifters.

Whenever I have been out riding this bike people have commented on how elegant it is and its almost perfect condition. I have taken 40+ mile rides quite comfortably, so no trouble being able to enjoy this bike on your favorite rides.

Vintage Specialized Allez SE Road Bike, I believe the frame to be a 56cm, in 5 9 and I ride it pretty comfortably. The bike comes with Centaur components, shimano pedals, specialized gel saddle, bike is based on a 3Rensho frame, I believe is first gen Allez frame a staple of the early days of specialized. The paint is in a bit of a rough shape bleached by the California sun but the bike rides pretty well, the bar tape and cables have been replaced, it originally had white tape and white cables with leather saddle. Reach out if you have any questions.

Vintage Schwinn Premis Road Bicycle in awesome condition, ready to ride. This is not your average Schwinn. I love the white Suntour Cyclone 7000 components; they are also quite rare. The iconic Columbus steel tubing gives this bike an awesome ride while still keeping it relatively light. The wheels are Weinmann. This is a Large frame (57 cm c-c seat tube). It is ideal for riders between 5'10" and 6'2". Cash is preferred. Bike can be seen in Cambridge, easily accessible from Somerville, Allston, and Brighton. Let me know if you have questions!

52cm Specialized Allez - Suntour Superbe - $150 (Briar Chapel)

Posted 2023-07-18 13:38

"Selling a sweet project bike that's too small for me. These early Specialized bikes are held in high regard for a reason. This one would make a great fixer upper for someone, still has the original Suntour Superbe parts (worth the asking price alone) as well as the Specialized branded 'flag' cranks and stem. There is some light surface rust in a few spots and various signs of used, but overall is very sound and up for a daily driver with a little elbow grease. Tires hold air, but will need to be replaced sooner than later. I am asking $150 as pictured. I am located in Briar Chapel, but can coordinate to meet in the greater triangle area. See pics for details and feel free to reach out with any questions."

bicycle frame material: steel

bicycle type: road
frame size: 52
wheel size: 700C

Vintage 1980s Bianchi Road Bike - $500 (West Medford)

I am selling a vintage Bianchi road/racing bike, limited 1986-87 Colorado Springs. Please look carefully at the photos. The bicycle is ready to go- I had a bicycle shop look it over. I am asking $500 or best offer. Feel free to email with questions. I cannot find a serial number but I am selling for the original owner. I think I've measured correctly but I can remeasure as directed. Thanks!

Shame about the dent, but this is a lot for the money.

CL WI Trek

1981 Trek 710 Project Bike – Full DuraAce - and Large lot of Parts - $250 (Greendale)

**Must take everything pictured***

Cleaning out my stash of old bikes/parts as I’ve been out of building bikes for quite some time and just need it all gone

Project bike pictured is believed to be a 1981 710, Reynolds 501 60cm (24’’) frame based on the serial number. Frame itself is rough, one dent in the top tube and some minor rust on the fork. Dura Ace shifters, brakes, crank, and front derailleur, Crane rear derailleur all in functional, pretty good condition. Front wheel in decent shape with Mallard hub. Rear wheel is just there for pictures and is not original to this bike nor currently attached.

Other parts –

Sram Force front derailleur
Raleigh 27’’ front wheel with inflated tire
Brand new 27’’ Kenda tire, 2nd older 27'' tire
Older Shimano calipers/front derailleur
Brand new bar tape, cage pedals, brake pads, CO2 cartridges
Various 10sp chains, older crank, various chain tools, reflectors, lights, etc. as pictured

That would be a cool 650bx38 candidate but I have plenty of that already.

I've never heard of a Sterling before, but it has forged dropouts and maybe Tange tubing (can't read the sticker on my phone), and it's very small to boot (50cm). Might be worth the $30 three seller is asking.

https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/bop...644191411.html

Edit: The same seller has a 51cm SR Maxima for $60. Campy dropouts, so I'm guessing near the top of the SR line.

It's a shame it's too big for me, but one of you taller guys might want it ... though I DO covet that Cyclone GT rear derailleur and those SunTour barcons ...

The 700 series Treks are great riders and I could definitely overlook the dent. And, yes, it's full 531.
