If only it was a little bigger.

His measurements are inconsistent with the catalog page I linked. If it is 58cm from spindle to top of top tube, why is his CTC top tube measurement 58.4cm, closer to the 60cm frame? Did they make the Team longer by 1995, when he claims he bought it, versus the 1993 catalog page.

Or, judging from the 54.6cm under top tube measurement, he just goofed the CTC measurement.

If it was a 60x58.5, I'd be looking for people to talk me out of it, which means I'd avoid this place

What think you all about this Fuji? From the serial #, it looks to have been made in January, 1984. I like Fuji (I have a 1986 Team in Flamingo) but I don't know very much about them.

1959 Schwinn Tiger
https://desmoines.craigslist.org/bik/2128986175.html

Selling what was once my resto-mod Schwinn middleweight project. Most of the modern parts are gone but I will include what few stock parts I still have left (crankset, post, bars, tires, etc.)

The wheels are the highlight and my price only reflects the cost of the wheelset. They are NOS Sun Rhyno lites in Chrome laced 3x to an ACS bmx hub in front and a Bendix red band hub in back. The hub shell was NOS and the chrome is amazing. A very unique, strong and lightweight wheelset.

The frame is a '59 Tiger middleweight with typical scratches, etc. but no dents or issues. The chrome fork will fit modern, fat tires but will need a different stem or a spacer to work.

From my brief experience with a 1984 Espree, it was a smooth relaxed ride. The Sagres is rather similar in equipment, but packs on another 2.1lbs according to the catalog. The steel pedals are easy enough to fix, but it doesn't bode well for the frame.

^ Eek, that Fuji on eBay is 22" crank to top of seat tube, according to the seller. That would definitely be too big for me at 5'7" and IIRC you are on the smaller side yourself.

I love the color and for a NOS bike the price may be OK. but it is a tallish bike.

This is so true, Al. Sometimes I think I still live on the Unicorn ranch where just because I wish for something, it will magically be perfect for me (like BBM's 56 cm Dancelli that I wanted so badly).

"Oh hey, lookit the lovely Dancelli, I wants!"

"It's too big for you."

"No it's not! Standover height is perfect for me! I must buy!"

"Standover height isn't measured from the chin down, Mouse."

"Oh. Dang." *cry*

Maybe this is more your size, Eek? I think the Premis was recently mentioned in a thread or two around here, it's one of the 'Schwinnasonics'. The price is not really a bargain though, and it's a long way from you...I don't even know where Plano, IL is!

Raleigh International ? S.F. Bay Area

Sweet vintage Raleigh great vintage road bike. $695 obo (russian hill)

Date: 2010-12-23, 5:15PM PST
Reply to: sale-dkm72-2127661397@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Vintage Raleigh International bike for sale. Made in 1970. This bike needs some work and love, but is mostly all original parts, and if done right, could become an awesome ride. Made in Nottingham, England. Green
OK. So apart from the fact that it is never a
wise choice to get involved with a Craigslist
ad that uses either sweet or awesome in the
descriptions, how exactly does what remains
of this bicycle indicate it is an international?

https://www.rematchsports.com/product...Bike-Project_2

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/2127661397.html

I know just enough about Raleighs to be dangerous,
but frankly I can't tell. Certainly the anniversary
head badge narrows down the date. Given the
price, I considered putting this on the other Craigslist
thread, but here it is anyway.

I'd say he's trolling. Knows enough to take a drive side photo against a white garage door. The ad is up too long, he's testing the market.
Only someone who knows the model would specifically say he's not sure what model it is.
