I agree wholeheartedly. I have 1992 altus c10 rapid fire shifters on my 1992 Giant Tourer and they shift perfectly fine.

The Altus and Alivio 7s Rapidfire-Plus canti levers are great parts, good enough for racing imo.

Even the Shimano EZ-fire 7s and 8s V-brake levers (as found on better dept-store bikes) have been great, though the brake lever shape on some of the newer ones isn't great like the older ones (look for less-recent ones, having a concave shape to the back side of the brake levers).

HThis is a bike that I never thought I’d sell. It still has all the original gold parts including the front derailleur which all is almost impossible to find in this condition. This all matches the black & gold flake oem paint. Yes its original paint and this is not a build. You might find one of these for $300-400 but no where near this nice. *** The pictures are of the bike uncleaned !!!!! I also have a brand new San Marco seat it’s ostrich with gold rails. I thought it would look awesome on it but I never installed or even took out of the package. If interested it is $100 alone. That is what I paid. I’m just offering this in addition to the bike

57cm Schwinn Paramount PDG Series 3 Road Bike. These bikes were made in Japan and very well built. Beautiful lugged frame with internal cable routing, original metallic blue with red splatter paint job. Just had a full tune up, ready to ride. All original full Shimano RX100 groupset. Frame and fork are made from Tange tubing, which is one of the higher end tubing used in steel frames. Really nice bike.

I disagree. Its real. But, the decals are an older set. Those are the proper cable guides from 1979, as well as the BB with the winged "C" and the lugs didn't have the hole cutouts after 1978. Maybe the fork had rust, and was fully painted, but it has the right profile.

Its a real Cinelli, just not as vintage as the decals portrait.

evidently someone has replaced the Juy Criterium front mech with a Freres Huret to get away from the pushrod (or because the body cracked!)

price looks FMV in my view; certainly not a great buy
