This won't last long, I'll bet: very small frame Lotus Excelle, in Seattle, $170BIN on eBay, local pickup only. Seller links to the only Lotus catalog to be found on the web, which states that the bike has vertical dropouts (as do other Lotuses at the time) but this bike looks later than that catalog.

In the Spring, it would sell right away(most likely). The weather here has cooled down the hot market.

Ha! I was just looking at that. I'm guessing it to be a Competition, based on the seat stays wrapping around the TT, but I could be wrong. It looks like a good deal, if you can confirm that those are not dents in the TT. If it wasn't so far and I wasn't packed with bikes, I'd go look.

1974 Schwinn Paramount Track bike for sale
56 cm Chestnut Brown
Full Campy Record Pista group original to the bike
Cinelli old logo bars and stem original to the bike
Schwinn 260 tubular wheels with new Giro tires
Brooks Professional racing saddle, not original to bike but correct model and vintage to best of my knowledge
All bearings were replaced with NOS campy bearings, including pedals.

Frame is straight and in good condition. Paint/decals are original and show wear.
I purchased this bike from the original owner about 5 years ago, and rebuilt it to display in a shop. I have never ridden it.
The original shop decal for Stone Cycle in alameda is still on the seat tube. Original owner raced it at Hellyer in the 70's.

All reasonable and serious offers considered, please don't waste yours and my time if you don't know what these are worth.

Can email more photos upon request.

I'm selling my old 14-speed road bike since I never use it anymore. All components are Shimano Ultegra. This bike is one of the first generation of carbon fiber road bikes, it features carbon tubes with aluminum lugs and stays, and an aluminum fork. I recently replaced the brakes and chain and cables. The bike needs a new seat/seat post and new wheels/tubes/tires and pedals (although I can throw in a set of toe clips for $10 if you need them). I'll sell it with the wheelset it has on it in the pictures, but those wheels only have a few miles left on them. I recently replaced the handlebar stem.

The frame size is 54cm.

This one looks strange and interesting, from the Austin CL:

REALLY WEIRD, REALLY FUNKY XX-SMALL CITY BIKE - $35 (Pflugerville)

Date: 2010-12-29, 4:34PM CST

Reply to: sale-vbvu5-2135013250@craigslist.org

Up for grabs is an interesting little city bike. It is called "Rider Junior City Cruising Bike" and appears to possibly be a Chinese market bike and has many labels in Chinese. The design of the bike is very typical of Asian or European city bikes and has features typical of those bikes. There is the friction generator powered headlight, rear wheel parking lock, and locking kick stand. What strikes me as odd is that this is so small. I assume it was designed for juveniles, but you don't see a lot of city/commuter bikes for this age group. This has a 13" frame size paired with 24" wheels making for a bike best suited for someone well under 5 feet tall. I would guess it would work for someone 4'6" to 4'10".

While this bike may be designed for younger teenagers, it may fit very short adults. Quite honestly, I am not sure if this is the best bike for a kid. It isn't that it is unsafe or anything wrong with it, but it does have its quirks. The most noticeable is the rear brake is more sensitive than most bikes. It has what is called a band brake which is commonly seen on electric scooters and I have seen them on older Asian bikes. They are a little harder to modulate and can feel a bit grabby if you aren't used to it. Kids tend to be a bit less gentle with things which is a necessity here.

I do want to make sure people understand that this is a well made bike. The frame uses brazed in drop-outs unlike cheapo department store bikes which may use stamped in pieces. The weld quality is as good or better than most name-brand bikes and many of the components are name brand. It uses a Shimano derailleur and shifter as well as a Sugino crankset. The rims are lightweight alloy. I also cleaned it up and gave it a basic tune-up so it does shift, stop, and steer well.

I think this could be a decent bike for a vertically challenged individual needing some wheels to get from A-B.

Call me for the fastest response. Ad will be deleted when bike is sold.

----------

That rear wheel lock is kind of cool.
