1989 PINARELLO Montello 56 cm, Campagnolo, Cinelli - $900 (Royersford)

The catalog from that year refers to the color scheme as "spumoni", the Italian dessert of multiple color/flavor layers. The company's top-of-the line bike comes with an excellent Campagnolo Chorus 7-speed Sycro group, featuring indexed shifting, which works perfectly! Wonderful added touches are the Cinelli stem/bars and a Selle San Marco "Rolls" saddle.

Original components. Comes with original Campagnolo Ambrosio Durex tubular wheel set with Campagnolo Record hubs. Also comes with a new wheel set on the bike fitted with continental gator skin tires (4 wheels total). The rim of the rear Campagnolo wheel is warped - it may be possible to true it, but the warp is pronounced and a few spokes may need to be replaced. The front Campagnolo wheel is in great condition. The Gator skin tires on the new wheel set are lightly used. There is one screw missing from of three screws attaching the petal basket to the left pedal. Bike comes with original seat and stem + new seat attached to original stem. Columbus tubing label in Italian. Other than the mirror, tool pouch, and new wheel set everything is original. -Original vintage Campagnolo Ambrosio Durex tubular wheel set with Campagnolo Record hubs + New wheel set fitted with tires (original rear cassette from the Campagnolo wheel is transferred to the new freewheel) -Campagnolo head set with battaglin stem and Inelli handlebars -Antique spidel rear derailleur -Antique spidel/Gipiemme front derailleur -Shimano front sprocket -Columbus fork with battaglin insignia -Original tire pump The bike is well used with some surface scratches. Stickers on the frame below the seat say Giro D'Italia and Giro D'Espania. Shifting needs to be tuned, but otherwise fully operational. Great restoration project. Serial # is 13 Possibly a team bike, but I don't have the expertise to definitively prove that. Didn’t add a picture of the serial number because I forgot when making the listing. from what I can make out here: yes it IS one of the better ones!
Don't know why the rear "socks" are black, but appears to have some nice details...for $175 I'd go check it out!

Genuine Italian Masi frameset and fork, very good to excellent condition. Model is Nuovo Strada. High quality Masi workmanship. Frameset measures 54cm (center-top) with a 54cm top tube (center-center). Rear dropouts measure 126mm spacing for 6 speed freewheel setup. Campagnolo dropouts. Italian threaded bottom bracket. Tubing is double-butted Columbus SL. Frame date is believed to be right around 1985. Original paint and decals in striking dark metallic blue color with while headtube and seat tube panel. No dents or dings, a couple of small areas on the paint have been touched up in the correct color. Nicely chromed Masi fork with chromed chainstay and dropouts. Investment cast lugs with Cinelli cast bottom bracket including Masi pantograph on BB. Full braze-ons including, two sets of water bottle bosses, top tube brake cable guides, front derailleur mount, shift lever bushings, pump peg. Engraved Masi seat stay caps, brake bridge, fork crown. No serial number on the frame which was a characteristic of Italian built Masi frames. Asking $599 or best reasonable offer.

1984 Trek 520 - $350 (Newton)

Except for the tires, chain and handlebar tape this bike is all original as pictured in the 1984 catalog with the exception of the shifters (bar-end instead of downtube, an upgrade in my opinion).

It has been completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and tuned. Overall condition is very good. No dings, dents or signs of crash damage. The paint has some scratches/scrapes/chips (see pics) but nothing terrible. No rust issues.

The brake and shift cables and housing are new as is the handlebar tape. Not sure how old the tires are but they are ridable and show minimal wear. The tubes hold air.

Includes the original made in US Jim Blackburn rear rack in silver. I have the original toe clips also (straps are replacements).
