Seems a killer deal unless something is badly wrong with it. 27-inch wheels sounds dubious, but what do I know?

If anyone has the Hetchins itch and has some cash laying around there is an attractive 58cm frame just listed on the 'bay. The UK seller tends to offer bikes and frames refurbed/painted by Woodrup, generally pretty nice. This one has evidence of previous pitting around the seat tube clamp and lug, but overall not bad. Given the current state of the vintage bike market it will be interesting to see what this goes for when the bidding is done, certain marques will probably always do well.

Depending on how thrashed the wheels/drivetrain might be...could be a nice pickup for $200. Novara Randonee.

Cool old trek 5200. Looks like some very tight clearances, though. $350.

With some haggling this could be a reasonable purchase. These were made with nice tubing, comes with a dyno hub. Seller says room for 700x40mm tires apparently. What a time the 2010s were for neo-retro! $800.

THIS is a screaming good deal. LITERALLY ridden by a 'little old lady'. See the post and her seat cover.

I don't need it yet, but because of my affinity for Schwinn's I'm so tempted.

casting back to a previous post: I don't think this is an exact match to that paint I was calling "dusty rose" but, it's in the right ballpark, plus obviously was a stock paint job on an Ishiwata 022 "Professional" model

For $10, might be worth it, but too far from me.
To my eyes the chrome looks OK. I donít believe it to be high end tubing but it does have chromed fork ends and stays in that oh so 70s Chartreuse. If it was near me I know I would not be able to resist for $10

For the right need and build, those levers alone could be well worth the ask.

I messaged the 'Old Lady' about the PDG Paramount this afternoon.

She was sweet: Someone was already driving two hours to pick it up.

If you are here: Lucky YOU! (Thanks for the temptation!)

a better pic (and a few more) would help eliminate some guesswork, but from what I can make out I'd say "Yes", that's a '70s Nishiki Pro. It may not be a 1972 but it's in that approx. era with round fork blades and chrome headlugs, the tubing was probably what later became Tange Champion #1. These had 700C tubular rims, at least the one I owned (briefly) did.
