Selling this near-mint 1988 7-Eleven Team Huffy Serotta, measuring 54.25cm ST, 55cm TT. It's in nearly spotless condition, with number hanger and all team stickers. I haven't been able to verify whether it's Columbus or True Temper tubing, although Serotta reported that teething issues with the True Temper tubing breakage had been sorted out by that time in the relationship regardless. Based on weight, ride characteristics, and vintage, it seems likely it could be Columbus SLX. I will verify before test ride/sale.

I believe it was a spare or a training bike, as it shows virtually no wear, **this is my favorite part, wouldn't a training bike be beat to peices?*

I'd be really tempted if it were my size, I love my Colorado II and I believe this frame has the same geometry.

I actually knew someone who had huffy decals on his Merlin. I am not sure if actually fooled anyone or not. atleast a Merlin uses lugless constrution just like a real huffy

Well, I was going to post this De Rosa, but it got relisted and sold this morning.

DE ROSA Vintage Road Bicycle ~ Campagnolo ~ Dura-Ace ($819 + $115 pack & ship)

I had seen it last night, and asked for it's dimensions. 60cm TT is doable, but on the long side for me, so no big worries.

Baffles me sometimes. I search by size more than particular name, and I NEVER saw this including when I looked at 10pm PST last night....perfect size, too.

1980s Bianchi Nueva Alloro - Celeste - Small Frame - $550 (Brighton)

Date: 2011-01-27, 6:25PM EST
Reply to: sale-9ft9y-2183813006@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I am selling my 1980s ('83-85 maybe?) Bianchi Nueva Alloro in celeste green. (classic color)

51cm Frame (I'm short and its perfect for me)
Campy components - about 90% original
6-speed freewheel
new bar tape
steel frame - normal wear, no rust
downtube shifters
700c tires
Comfortable seat

Well taken care of, I have done all the work on it myself. No squeaks, no rust, lubed monthly. Cleaned salt off everyday if ridden in winter.

Kept in great condition. Will need rear-shifter to be adjusted (slips at times)

$550 FIRM - SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY, NO DELIVERY. Girlfriend says I can't get a cyclocross bike without getting rid of one of my bikes already on hand!

These are 1974 or 75 schwinn spints rare good looking frames that you can build a neat road bike frome or make modes into amazing track frames for both single speed or fixed gear configurations i will take 50 for each or both for 100
THEY ARE NOT THE PARMOUNT SILVER FRAME OR BIKES SHOWN THEY ARE SCHWINN SPRINT FRAMES FROM 1975 MARCH AND APRIL
BUT FRAMES ARE SIMALAR AND ARE REAL VINTAGE SCHWINNS (not parmounts)
SO AGIAN I HAVE ONE COPPER AND ONE SILVER
both need refinishing - i will include fork and hardware to mount fork
the wild look bent seat tube gives them a ultra modern track bike LOOK !

I saw that. Very misleading pictures. The frames are basicly Continentals with a bent seat tube. The silver Paramount is not what he's selling, the copper one is the Sprint.

My mistake on thinking they were a better find than they really are.

1987 Schwinn Voyageur in Imperial Rose... this was Schwinn's top of line touring model from 1980-1991. they called this a 23" frame. in metric it measures 58cm c-t with a top tube of 58cm c-c. Columbus Tenax tubing. the paint has many paint chips and scrapes. the worst being on the right side of the top tube. aside from this, the bike is in very good condition. most of the components on this bike are original. here's a partial list...

-27" Wolber Super Champion Modele 58 rims - 40h rear, 36h front
-Maillard Sealed low flange hubs
-Panaracer Pasela Tour Guard tires 27x11/4 (new)
-170mm Deore Crankarms with 28-38-48 Biopace chainrings
-SR Sakae SP 155 pedals
-Phil Wood bottom bracket (new)
-Dia Compe 983 cantilevers and brake levers
-Deore front and rear derailleurs
-Brooks B17 saddle (very very broken in)
-Blackburn racks front and rear (new)
-Zefal frame pump
-Sakae Custom 8cm stem and 39cm handlebars

the wheels are true. the hubs were recently overhauled with new bearings and spin smoothly. the pedals were also just overhauled and are very smooth. the Phil bb has less than 100 miles on it so it can probably go another 20,000 or so. the shifters can index, but it is currently set up for friction. the plastic cover on the right downtube shifter is slightly cracked, but it does not affect shifting. the original chainrings were Biopace 28-44-50. after my most recent tour I replaced them with new Biopace which are still in great condition.

this was my first touring bike - it has seen many miles and will go many more. perfect for anything from long distance self-supported touring to around town commuting. the bike is in Middleton, but I would be willing to bring it to you if you live within 10 miles or so.

Reply to: sale-bvmyb-2184423991@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I have an old early 80's Trek steel lugged frame/fork/headset/crank/bottom bracket. There is some rust, so the bike can be built up for a commuter or stripped down and repainted. This is when Trek actually "made" bikes, actual detail in the lug work. Make me an offer and it's yours.

Seat tube: 59cm c-c
Top tube: 58cm c-c
Head tube: 180mm

??? Looks to big for a 21 and WAY too small for a 25, and IIRC, those were the options back then.
