Vintage Reynolds Frame w/ Campy everything - $150 (san jose downtown)

Date: 2011-03-03, 2:36PM PST
Reply to: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/2245569032.html

62cm (center BB to center top tube) Vintage Jeunet (French) lugged steel frame. Reynolds 531 frame and fork . Campy headset (w/ campy bearings) , Campy bottom bracket w/ Campy bolts and bearings, Campy drop outs front and rear. Rears are horizontal if you plan on running fixed gear. Frame is straight w/ no dings or dents. Original orange paint w/ black lugs.
The paint is OK but does show some wear. I’m guessing the frame was made in France in the mid 1970s, (based on pre-TI takeover of Reynolds) neither the frame decal nor the fork (which came off) has the gold section with the TI corporate information which was added around 1977-78.
I have a lower campy dual cable guide that I can toss in for $10 if you plan on running gears.
Call, Text or Email me at 510 585 6495. – Thanks, Tim

i dont know if the forl is bent but can you go get it for me? I'm serious!

Looks like an awesome deal. A bit small for me but has internal cable routing and looks sharp!

https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...247554763.html

This is a small frame road bike that is in near original condition. I have not ridden it myself because it is a very small frame. The seat tube is 49cm c-c and the top tube is about 54cm. This frame has aluminum main frame tubes and steel lugs and rear stays. This was one of Raleigh's upper level bikes back in 1987 or so.
Mostly Suntour components and it has 6 speed index shifting. Nice 700c rims on Suntour hubs.
It does have horizontal dropouts so would be a good fixed-single speed bike too.

I do not have a good photo of it yet, here is a pic of the same bike in a larger size.

Team 7-11 serotta Road Bike 21" or 54CM - $1200 (Colorado Springs)

A rare collectible bike in almost new condition. $1200.00

I have a Team 7-11 issue Serotta road bike in almost new condition the year Huffy was a sponsor that has hardly ever ridden with the word Huffy since they were a sponsor that year and who's serial number is 71142 which says it was the 42nd team 7-11 issue road bike. I originally ordered this bike at my local bike shop here in Colorado Springs who ordered it from Ben Serotta when I purchased it. He may have also been the builder of this Team 7-11 issue road bike. So I am the original owner of the road bike.

It has all Dura-ace 7-speed components on it with a Dura-ace chain and it has the look pedals on it, Cinelli handle bars and Cinelli stem and the Mavic MA40 36-spoke rims and of course the frame is made out of steel with TRUE TEMPER tubing and it is red and white in color and it has the word Huffy on it in black and white and of course the words Serotta with the Serotta decals. It is a 54CM or 21 inch road bike with brand new Specialized S-work tires. The tires are not sew up's and are brand new. It also has made in USA decals on it. I am 5 ft 6 inches and the 21 inches is ones pants inseam. So when I stand over the bar of my bike my inseam is 21 inches is how that is measured.

"Original decals"? On a repaint? How's that work?? Looks like they added braze-ons with the repaint as well. And, of course left off the yellow seat tube bands and head tube. All of that and the fact that it's been "rightfully" (?!?!?) re-equipped with Campy knocks the **** out of its value, IMHO. $750? Yeah, right.

For Releigh Fans

I hope it is not any one of us here, but apparently someone is having to sell-off their collection , including this relatively rare '73 Super Course "TT" model in Flamboyant Red, with sprint wheels.

This one appears to be a really nice bike for someone who needs a very small frame.
- The price as initially-posted is pretty reasonable - But I'll be curious if it actually sells for more than your run of the mill '73 Super Course.
(PS- I believe all of them carried the Carlton label at the time, and I believe only the frame would have been '531 - not the forks as posted. Stem & Seat post are upgrades. GB stem replaced but easy to find.)

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tchlink:top:en

Real nice Vintage, Mid 70's, Carlton Raleigh Super Course TT men's bike. Rare find with Carlton logos. Carlton was the shop where Raleigh had all their high end hand crafted racing frames made. Nice chrome, top tube wording is faded. Some flaking of decals. Carlton decals on seat tube and forks. "C" logo on seat post binder bolt and Carlton on brake hoods. 531 main tubes and I believe the forks also. 21" frame. Paint's in good shape with usual wear.

Simplex derailures
Sew-ups on Normandy hubs
Early Shimano Dura-Ace crankset
3-T Stem, unmarked bar
Campy 2 bolt seat post
Wienmann brakes and levers (with Carlton hoods)
Brooks saddle
Original quil pedals

I'm thinking the seatpost and crankset are early upgrades. But not sure. I've found specs on Super Course TT's, but not for Carlton branded model. Great collector piece, air up the tires and go!

Must dissolve the collection. Soon listing many others: Dawes Galaxy, pair of Austrian built Puch Marco Polo's, pair of REAL EARLY Alex Moulton's, Atala w/Campy Victory, Zunow w/Suntour Superbe Pro, Schwinn Paramount P-13, Schwinn Voyager, Shelby w/ springer, Colson w/wicker baby seat, Columbia. Email your interests.

Zullo Special w/ 600! 55cm

I have one of these, and they are great riding bikes. I met Tiziano Zullo at NAHBS, and he gave me a fair amount of history surrounding these early 80's bikes of his, and they are very rich in history.

This one sounds like it has typical wear issues, but the charm is all there.

Might be a "Batman" camera angle, but the front fork should be checked as well.

Older Scapin Italian road bike. Scapins are a nicely made, classic handling Italian ride, one of hundreds of Italian marques that you don't see often, but are fine bikes nonetheless.
Has some Campagnolo components and is in good overall condition. White with white aero brake set. Must be picked up in Yonkers NY.

First $150 (firm) gets this great old-school road bike!

If I had the space for it I'd pick this one up for guests or to give to a friend.

Well, it was re-listed by a new owner, so I'm not sure it counts

Local pickup only in northern Indiana.

1970s Fuji Finest - 63cm

I bought this bike during the 1970s. Shortly after moving to Indiana the bike was custom painted by a gentleman in Michigan. Since then it has primarily been stored in my garage. The bicycle is in very good cosmetic and functional condition.

The bicycle is available for pick-up only. I live in Middlebury, Indiana about 100 miles east of Chicago.
