I'll let the pic do the talking on this one. You will not find another in this condition ANYWHERE This bike is 58cm with Suntour Ole' components. You will NOT be disappointed. First $300.00 cash takes it away, and not a penny less so please don't ask. Please leave a contact number if interested. Here is a link to the specs https://www.classicfuji.com/1988_33_S...ions2_Page.htm

Thanks

miamijim recently posted a thread proclaiming he's bowing out from the flipping game. We'll see about that!

Oh wait, he's in the Tampa area, isn't he?

Brake lever hoods - red - modolo - 919 - anatomic - new

Hi Folks,
A couple months ago I posted to this thread :
Re-production lever hoods - interest?

Well, I've finished my molds!

I have produced one set of hoods that I believe will meet visual and functional standards (besides three sets that have some kind of fault). It was a hellovalot of work. Anyone who is curious about the details is welcome to inquire, but I won't bore thread followers here.

I listed the pair on ebay for what I think is a decent deal ($40) and will help me defray the cost of development.

I can make a variety of colors. I thought that would be appealing since the white and black OEM units are already ubiquitous on ebay. On the other hand, as an option to the OEM units, because, I believe, the product is fundamentally superior to the OEM, maybe I should make white and black? I have an idea how to make "Holstein Cow" colored! Even if the finer details are not up to Poggiamani's production standards, the feel and durability is head and shoulders above thanks to modern rubber chemistry.

I guess I should make another pair and list on CL to be true to this thread.
Today, it will be done...in yellow!

Frankly, I am desperate for feedback. Probably, it is necessary to hold the hoods in your own hands to answer every question to your satisfaction, but I'd be happy to dialogue...

Here's an offer that should appeal, I have 3 sets of "seconds". 1 red, 1 chocolate brown, 1 white. They are more or less functional, (aesthetic issues to the 'backsides' except the white which got too thin at one of the noses but still feel good where it counts). Interested parties can send me their mailing address and I will send their choice postage paid! They'd work on your beater / commuter / old gf's bike....Just promise to tell me/us your candid opinion.

Take a look:

27 inch raleigh super grand prix

My budget is already pretty tight due to buying new tools and a stand. Only for that I would try to buy (depending on condition and components) and either flip or part out. definitely not my size, even if it's not really 27" it looks way too big.

this looks very familiar. (I should have taken that Ole' kit and fixied it, then sold it to some hipster for $500)

I know but I have seen a few "Non Vintage" CL ads work there way into this thread. Somebody may be looking for a frame to build a Retro looking SS. I bet this could be had for much less then the asking price......and "No" it's not my ad.

1986 Bianchi Frame (55cm) - $50 (Billerica)

Date: 2011-03-27, 11:04AM EDT
Reply to: sale-sfurg-2289209129@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I am selling a 1986 Bianchi Frame in good/very good condition. The fork alone is worth $50.00.

Note: There is a "B" stamp on top of front lower lug and "Bianchi" is stamped on the bottom of the bottom bracket.

The fork is stamped "Bianchi" on the drop-outs and the rear drop-outs are stamped "Gipiemme".

The Seat tube measures 55cm from center of bottom bracket to top of seat tube.

The frame is labeled "Made In Italy" & labeled Columbus "Cromoly" Steel.

I am only selling the fork, headset and frame. Head-set has been cleaned and re-greased.

There is some rust around front lugs, but this red paint should be easy to touch-up. The rest of frame is in very good condition.

If you send me your name, number, and the best time to call, I will call you ASAP.

Cilo Swiss w/ Shimano 600 Group Size 57 - $440 (Backbay)

Date: 2011-03-27, 9:27AM EDT
Reply to: sale-teskv-2289083164@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

This is a swiss made Cilo bike from the late eighties.

Has a complete Shimano 600 groupset except for the brake levers that are Shimano 105 aero. New cassette + chain. Shifting is friction on a 8-speed cassette. Wheels are true.

Everything functions perffectly.

Bike rides exceptionally well. Unfortunately it is a bit too big to me and I have been able to source a smaller one. Tubing is Columbus.

Previous owner removed most of the decals and only left the headtube one. Decals can be bought from eBay. Bike has some paint bruises on the left side from parking and locking to parking meters, etc. However, there are no dents.

More pictures can be found at:
https://people.bu.edu/marcelor/ForSale/Site/Cilo.html

Pedals seen in photos not included but a cheap plastic platform pedals are included.

Size info:
TT 57
ST 56.5 c-c, 58 c-t

I want to sell this for cash and in person only. Price is firm.

Very versatile frame. Used it as a touring bike for a little while and then converted it to fixie. Not sure how many CM, but I'm 5'8" and it's just a bit on the large side. Just selling frame, fork, BB and headset. In great condition aside from a few cosmetic blemishes. This frame is being sold at Firehouse Bikes in similar condition for $325. Need to sell before Thursday. Txt me at 267 403 7741.

Frame and fork $50 and would be only about $50 to ship....wow
I agree. Rocket Sauce, if you need a part time job, I'm sure people would be willing to make it worth your while to facilitate. You're just teasing the rest of us with these great deals!

I am kind of surprised this is so high so early in the auction, $1300 for a Bridgestone Bike XO-1 with 5 days left:
