http://cgi.ebay.com/Bridgestone-Bike...item1e62779030 makes me wonder why bikes direct hasnt offered a replica of these. maybe if the fanpage gets a little more traction http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=...id=48959876679 |

Used it as a touring bike for a little while and then converted it to fixie. Not sure how many CM, but I'm 5'8" and it's just a bit on the large side. Just selling frame, fork, BB and headset. In great condition aside from a few cosmetic blemishes. This frame is being sold at Firehouse Bikes in similar condition for $325. Need to sell before Thursday. Txt me at 267 403 7741. Location: West Philly it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests Well, what size is it? The idiot isn't able to use a tape measure OR post a pic of the entire bike? |
Col. if you're interested I'll run out and take a look for you. Doesn't sound like he's too far and with that ad he won't be getting his asking price.

59cm 1989 Trek 520 touring frame + extras - $250 (JP) Date: 2011-03-29, 1:23PM EDT Reply to: sale-5c8un-2293470927@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Selling a 59cm 1989 Trek 520 Touring frame (For a rider about 5'8"-6'1"). I put about 500 miles on it last year before deciding it was a little too small for me, so I parted it out to a new frame. Overall in great structural and good cosmetic shape, with the expected scratches and decal rub, but very little rust. It's a great quality touring frame, has all the brazes and eyelets you need for a smooth commuter or a cross-country tour. Also includes the following: Original headset and bottom bracket Original Deore LX triple crank and front/rear derailleurs Some unattractive but functional cantilevers Downtube cable stops The clampless seat post and junk flat pedals in the picture if you want them A bottle cage for good measure. Overall a great and affordable start to a great Touring build! I'm pretty firm at $250 but will consider partial trades of decent bike stuff (Looking for single speed rear wheel, a quality rear rack, 60-62 cm steel frames, or whatever)

There are multiple bikes on this post, and many seem like very solid deals. Nothing to go crazy for, and not flip prices, but good keeper prices on solid Japanese bikes.

I don't usually post ebay listings, but this one sure is purty (and pricey too!):

Those are nice keeper prices, but I don't believe any of those bikes are devalued by half...especially considering the seller is in timbuktu. He's very far from me, so facilitating might be difficult. I gave you a call.
|
I can help w/ facilitation if Aaron can't. The seller is about 20 minutes from me. Let me know
