One of these came up last year at the LBS for $150.
You gotta love the stem, if nothing else.

Schwinn High Plains Men's Mountain Bike Tall 23 inch 58cm Bicycle - $150 (Gloucester, MA)

I have a used bike that has expected scuffs and a little bit of paint loss from use and moving around; but still rides great. The scuffs have turned rust color from being stored near the ocean - I was going to touch them up with rustoleum, but will leave that to the next owner... Approximate measurements: 23" Frame measured center of pedal mount to top of tube where the seat post fits in; Standover is 33", Top tube is 25" (end to end). I just went around the block today and all gears are fine. It has been hanging from bike hooks for a long time. Built to last; Priced to move. Why settle for less? You Will Love This Ride. PLEASE reply with your phone number, so I will know that you aren't an email phisher....

Not a bad looker and if it was my size, I'd be tempted.

I can possibly help facilitate this one.

62cm, 1987 Shogun 3000 Tri Bike, NOS, Concor Ti Saddle

62cm, 1987 Shogun 3000, Tange Prestige Chromoly double butted tubing, set up as "Tri"

This frame was purchased and built, 15 years ago by an old friend who as asked me to list it, with NOS Shimano 600 Ultegra (Model 6400) Grouppo and Concor Ti saddle. The bike was assembled and ridden once. It has been in storage and moved a few times so any wear is cosmetic due to these moves, not by being ridden.
NO abrasion on the rims, no wear on the teeth, a time capsule.
Swap out the bars and you'd have an incredible road bike OR ride it as it is. Just look at the photos.

Photos here: https://s1080.photobucket.com/albums/...wards5/SHOGUN/

I was going to post this as a "save me!" but as you can read below, there is no saving this one. It's not a high end Bianchi, but one that could be fun, as long as you want a single speed... forever.

Here's some comments from the seller as I felt compelled to email.

Hi,
"Shifter bosses & derailure hanger removed."
Does this mean that you physically sawed them off?

----

That's how you do it. And then file & paint. The bosses are hard to do, but they turned out pretty good I think.
Looks way better than the dorky bosses sticking out to me.
In my circle we call these "bum bikes". We take quality parts & blend them into one nice little bike you won't cry about if it gets jacked at the park or something. My intent was to make the change irreversable. There are far better frames & parts for that. I would'nt ride a nice track bike on the road , so I made my own trendy (but fun) single speed.

-----
Bianchi Premio single speed (Grants Pass)
Converted to faux fixie. 58cm. Shifter bosses & derailure hanger removed. Fenders & water bottle cages included. $ 125.00

Paging Fuji experts...this one looks like a good one, at least for $70! Bar-cons, and is that a Brooks or Belt!?

Oh my size too, too bad my parents are "snowbirding it" or they'd be on their way to go get this!

Bike is in perfect condition. I recently put $170 into this bike (new rubber, tubes, foam, crank, cables, seat) all work done at a bike shop. Having back problems and can't ride and don't want this great bike to just sit in the garage.
