I had these same shoes and these shoes are exactly what I thought of when I saw that bike. I think that bike say "80's" more then any other bike I think I've ever seen. I was I had the bucks to get it.

Miyata 712 road bike with Shimano 105 - $250 (Boston)

Date: 2011-04-18, 10:41PM EDT
Reply to: sale-apqf7-2333669447@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I'm selling a fairly tall (62/63cm with 33inch standover) entry level racing bike from the 1988 Miyata line. The bike was made in '88, but is light and responsive enough to be a nice training bike, triathlon rig, or speedy commuter. I've overhauled or replaced everything on the bike except the bar tape and brake cables. It would be a shame to get ride of that white leather tape to get to the cables, but if you want me to replace those too, I've got some nice red and blue tape that goes perfectly with the clips and straps.
It's got quality components with plenty of personal touches. It was a 600 dollar bike in 1988. Splined triple butted tubing, indexed shifting, definitely comparable to top sports level bike today. In the interest of full disclosure, the plastic cap on the tip one of the shifters is cracked. It has had no cosmetic or functional affects.A great pickup for guys and girls over 6ft.
Leave your number and I will call you. Available for home pickup (in Dorchester) or home delivery (fee negotiable) during the day m-f, or prescheduled appointments at night. If this ad is up, the bike is available. From Downloads

56cm Nishiki NFS - Vintage TT/Tri Bike - $40 (Brighton)

Date: 2011-04-19, 8:35AM EDT
Reply to: sale-ucqa7-2334028729@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

This is a somewhat rare time trial bike by Nishiki from 1993 The wheels are 650c and the frame generally fits about like a 55cm bike in "classic" road bike geometry (maybe for a rider from about 5'8" to 6' something?). The frame is TIG-welded steel double butted chrome-moly.
The frame is in great shape for being almost 20 years old and has a few minor scrapes. The chrome fork is in amazing shape. The frame does not have a headset installed but I could sell you one for an additional $10.

Basso Frame 54cm - $160 (inner SE)

Date: 2011-04-18, 10:13AM PDT
Reply to: sale-247ez-2332467229@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

It is about time I let this puppy go. Basso 54cm, made from double butted columbus sl tubing, basso dropouts...etc. This bike is completely restored! Powder coated here in portland at Brooker enterprises. Engraved "B" on brake bridge, cool pump peg on top tube. I sadly do not have the original fork to the bike but have two very viable options from which you may choose. One fork is a Eddy Merckx mx leader fork made from columbus max tubing (which is what I had previously installed) OR I also have a chrome tange fork that will require a long reach caliper brake. Pick your fancy. Also included will be the allready installed veloce bottom bracket!

Call or Email me, 503-409-9614
-alex

I also have a few things that I need to get rid of, seeing as though I am running out of room in my closet:

Selle italia slr saddle
Campagnolo nuovo record seat post 26.8
Sidi zephyr road shoes, 44.5 New in box
Peugeot Px10E 53cm, nervex lugs, reynolds 531

Might ask if the seller still has the original components....and I'd love to facilitate on this one!

1977 Cinelli super Corsa - $1500 (Boulder CO)

Built personally for me by Cino Cinelli through an arrangement with Peter Rich of the legendary VeloSprt Cyclery in Berkeley. A 56cm frame with road geometry typical of the time. Current components include Carbon Record brake levers, front and rear derailleur, titanium seat frame and much more. Completely original paint, pre-Helvetica decals and cloissinee medallion on head tube. My 65 year old human frame simply can't keep up with this fantastic climbing frame!

"Take a look at this well maintained classic. Everything works. Tires aren't bad. 37 inch STV. 26 1/2 inch fame. So this is a "tall man's special". Built in the early to mid seventies... the first japanese built schwinn. The world sport was first bike to have a lugged frame"

This is the real thing -- the 1974 Raleigh International racing bike in Raleigh team orange! Frame is 22" (32" standover height). Campagnolo Nuovo Record gruppo with updated DuraAce hubs and Durex Ambrosio Extra Elite rims. She is still a dream to ride after all these years, or part her out for these sweet components. Offers considered.
